Isn't Lendale White a UFA?
No because of the CBA issue Lendale is now a RFA. All players who used to be UFA after 4 years are now RFA for the 1st 6 years until this CBA issue gets cleared out.

Pretty sure that SD would want something in return for Cro, and Lendale would not be enough. of course AJ Smith is a pretty cocky dude and he might just do it, but it was pretty well rumored that Tenn was going to let White walk, so I doubt that SD offers Cro

Titan homer here....rumors are that if the trade is offered, then SD and TEN would also swap 1st rounders, that way SD gets a bit of a better deal.

That seems like a pretty good deal for SD if they'd trade 1st rounders. Moving from 28th to 17th is a big jump and most draft nerds and talking heads believe the talent in the draft drops after the top 20 picks are off the board.

This trade seems like such a bad fit. Jeff Fisher kept playing Nick Harper all season (despite his terrible coverage downfield) because he could do one thing well: tackle (particularly in run support). The Titans' scheme requires the CBs to step up and make tackles. Cromartie might be the worst guy in the league in that respect.
