:bye: :bye: you won't be missed, Pinkie.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkOOn3o5XcI

but....time to downgrade Akers, he just lost his favorite holder.

But....but... none other than NFL insider extraordinaire Len Pasquarelli said they were going to trade him... and all those teams were so interested in him...and going to make him a starter !!!!

How could this possibly happen???

Feeley coming full circle...nice.
Philly does it again, they got a nice pick for Feeley and got him back for free.
I'm sure Heather Mitts is happy to be leaving Miami and San Deigo for a chance to live in Philadelphia.
I met her at a bar in Philly. Her and her girl asked me to take a picture of them.
:pics:
Was her camera and then I had nothing. She is so hot in person I was speechless.

Hopefully Lenny P gets his big butt chewed for *obviously* using his ESPN gig to throw a favor out there for his pal Segal. That wasn't news, it was a favor for a Segal client, and it is obvious that Len can't separate the two.

But he's still at it. He updated his column from yesterday to add:"As of Tuesday afternoon, with agent Joel Segal working the phones with permission from the Eagles, three teams had indicated an interest in Pinkston, a second-round selection in the 2000 draft. At least two of the three receiver-needy franchises would likely view Pinkston as a starter, if he is healthy. Pinkston conceded, though, he is not pain-free yet as he continues recover from the Achilles injury suffered last summer in training camp.Even with permission to seek a trade, the odds that a team would acquire Pinkston in a deal with the Eagles were slim. It was obvious that, with the glut of wide receivers, Pinkston could be nudged out of a job, and so most teams were willing to gamble that he would be released. Philadelphia is set at the two starting wideout spots, with Stallworth and second-year veteran Reggie Brown, and the coaches like some of the youngsters they've brought in, too."IF 2 teams really wanted Pinkston as a starter, I am sure a conditional 7th round pick would not be too much to give to obtain his rights. AND, how could the Eagles cut him IF he was still injured. Len tries to back pedal a bit by saying that the odds are slim anyone would trade for him. Isn't this the opposite of what he was selling yesterday!!!

I love how Lenny P says that Pinkston was "victimized" by the "sudden glut of wide receivers" in Philly. :lmao: Yup, poor Pinkston was the victim of the Eagles having way too many stud receivers. That must be it.

Pinkston will be lucky to ever have more than 15 catches in a season again. In fact, he'll be lucky to even get signed by anyone else ever again. There will probably be some team stupid/desperate enough to sign him to a one year minimum contract to see if he can offer them anything, but I SERIOUSLY doubt that he'll ever start another game in the NFL.

I'll miss Koy.
:goodposting: Me too. Ah, the good old days when he mocked taking off his belt and doing the #####-slap after throwing a TD. Oh yeah, the dude he was mocking was Favre. Good times.....
LOL. I remember how much that pissed Favre off and how he drove the Packers down the fieldon the next drive, the whole time talking #### to Koy on the sideline.. and then gave him the staredown after he thre a TD.. brilliant game..I think it was a Monday night.

:lamo:We traded him for a 2nd round pick. He was like a top 3 pick in the 2nd round

:goodposting: I saw her at the Denver airport. As I was trying to explain to my buddy from work who she was, he loudly says, 'Oh, you mean Mia Hamm' :bag:

Just 3 years ago, Philly started 3 WRs, 1 is a 1st round pick who cant get a job, 2 is a first round pick who was just cut, 3rd is ... well, James Thrash

Ive started disliking Lenny P since the TO debacle court case last year.

Who did they select with that pick?
Reggie Brown.
Their other second rounder in 2005 was matt mcoy who sucked so at least they got somebody in that steal of a deal.
McCoy is a starting LB for the Eagles this year, over Sean Barber IIRC.

:goodposting: Dare I say...our WR corps are actually half decent now...and show some real promise for the future. If Westbrook satys healthy... :wall:

I think this is BY FAR the best WR group of the Reid era and are the best - IMHO - since the Barnett/Williams days. Will you get here already, Sept. 10!!

Since he is from So. Miss, I could see the Saints calling him. If he can play, he could stretch the field. With Henderson and Colston as the next options, he could possibly get a job for the veteran minimum.

Yeah I know. The fact is he sucked last year and was inactive for most games. Maybe he will be great this year, who knows. When a second round lb pick is inactive for a team that has a need at lb that is not good. Like I said time will tell.
