Not a points league. Highest points = $60 and I guess it could affect seeding.

I lost by one Trent Richardson run.

 
A few years ago, Peyton Manning preserved a win by running toward the end zone and purposely going down at the one so they could run out the clock. The difference between Manning scoring that TD and not scoring it was the margin of victory in a total points league. Both teams scored more than 3,000 points, and the margin of victory was five. If he had scored, the other team would have won by a single point.

That had to be a big ouch for the person who lost.

 
I missed the playoffs last year because Yahoo changed the default scoring to NOT count 2pt conversions. I lost by 1 pt after my QB threw a 2pt conversion that didn't count. I must have refreshed that page like 50 times before I realized.

 
Lost four figures in the championship game when my starting QB took one knee for -1 yard to seal the victory for his IRL team.

 
I lost a championship game by <1 when my starting QB on maybe the first play of the noon games hit his hand on a helmet and went right out. Same game lost by the point lost from the kicker hitting from 39, not 40. Sure looked like he was on the 40 to me, no for some reason they put it down as 39. Same game, last play of the last MNF game of the season, starting WR dropped a pass right in his hands.

stat trackers have fantasy teams, too

 
Been in a dyno league for about 9 or 10 years now. First year I won the Superbowl by 1 yard. We don't do decimal scoring (so 1 point for every 10 yards, etc.) - his TE had 59 yards receiving. With time running out and 3rd and 4 the Dolphins threw to...whoever the heck it was for about a 3 yard out...Right in his hand...he dropped it. Just flat out dropped it. I screamed in elation realizing I had just hung on to win - dropped to my knees at my parents house. I was hooked on FF from that point forward. Stupid game.

 
i lost my league championship last night by .8 points.. aka that stupid meaningless screen pass to garcon.

and o by the way the chiefs d got me -2 points.. would of been better off starting a stick of gum then those jokers.

and last week in another league i missed out on a chance to play for the league title by .2 points.

i feel sick again

 
Last year I won the title during the Seahawks/Niners game. I had Kaepernick and they were on the five yard line at the end of the game. A TD wouldn't have been enough. I needed yardage with it. Niners offensive lineman got a 15 yard penalty to push them back to the 20. On 4th down Kaepernick threw the meaningless TD and I won by 2 yards.

Totally forgot I won last year on that same game. Opponent started the SEA DST and had the lead, but was losing points every time they crossed a yardage threshold. Even with the TD would have won if SF was held to <300 yards. SF finished with 313 thanks to the 15 yard penalty backing them up, and I won the title.
