Everett's fantasy impact for Bill's players this week (1 Viewer)

This thread is in no way an attempt to trivialize the tragedy that happened to Everett this past week. I've been reading almost every article about him and what's going on and how the members of the team went to visit him and couldn't help but think how fired up they could be this week facing Pittsburgh. I imagine every single player is going out there with the mentality of "let's win this one for Kevin".

While there's only so much that intangibles can make up for, is this alone enough to upgrade Evans and Lynch this week? We've seen stuff like this before from Favre and his tragedies, the Saints last year, etc.

I think it may have an adverse affect on them. I was watching J.P. Losman talking about Everett last night and he said something along the lines of "I have wonder if the risks of serious injury are worth playing anymore"

Do you think that Lee Evans will lay it out for a catch across the middle if he knows that Polumalu(sp?) is lurking and waiting to paste him?

Their a very young team especially on offense and seeing a team member almost die on the field a week ago may shake them up more than we realize.

Or they may win 48-3 and Evans goes for 200+ and 3 TDs...you never know, thats why we play fantasy.

I'm a Bills homer and feel like the Bills will come out fired up Sunday. They lost a very tight game against a very good Broncos team. The injury to Everett gives this young team something rally around.

I also feel that there is no way Evans puts up 2 for 5 this week. Fairchild knows Evans is this teams best offensive player and will find ways to get the ball in his hands. It will also help that the Steelers don't have Champ Bailey.
