I think Washington and Addai have the best shot. Oh, and Lundy had a TD today FWIW.

added Bush and Addai..

I flat out forgot Addai, although I watched him play all day today :bag:

Bush.. can't believe I missed him

added Norwood to the list too...

if Dunn ever goes out, he would make it interesting...

I have to think that Maroney, Leon and Addai obviously have the best shots since they are all 1/3rd of the way there.. but they'll have to continue putting up big numbers...

Leon hasn't had his bye week yet, so his #'s are on one more team game..

It is a matter of playing time. I'm not sure any of the rookie backs will get enough playing time to get 1000 yards or not. There's sure no shortage of talent in this RB class, though.

Wow I didn't realize Washington had that many yards already. I'll say him, Addai, and Maroney all get there.

Washington, Addai and Maroney have the best chance. I think Washington is about to officially become the Jets feature back with Barlow getting some short yardage work

Addai - 80%Washington - 60%Maroney - 50%Everybody else worse than 50/50.
As long as the Colts keep starting Rhodes and giving Addai only half the carries, then Addai's % is no better than Washington or Maroney to get 1000 yards. While I understand wanting to keep Addai fresh all season, it is frustrating to watch as a Colts fan.

Washington will be the full time starter at some point this season, Barlow will still play and get touches. I see the split as 75-25 in favor of Washington over the second half of the season.

If I had to predict his final stats 180/1100/9

The Jets do have Houston, who did run well when healthy and CMart, it is really anyones guess what happens. I am rooting for Leon "bowlingball" Washington

6.2 yards per carry???I dont know about that all season.I would go with 240 carries to get to 1100. Just my opinion.

I'll take Addai, but I don't think any of them are going to make it this seasons. The average offensive line just sucks.

not sure where he ends up in his career but he has not proven to be able to run between the tackles in his first year

Norwood 149/521/4 28/201/0 + 320 KR yds = 1142 Tot Yds & 4 TD's (mostly electrifying, however)

Leon 120/511/3 12/117/0 + 80 Ret yds = 708 Tot Yds & 3 TD's

MJD 95/500/7 32/317/2 + 580 KR yds = 1397 Tot Yds & 9 TD's :banned:

I know this was about 1000 yds RUSHING, but just wanted to add some for those where Return Yardage counts :)

Has a rookie RB ever had 1000 yards receiving? Or 100 catches? Bush has an outside shot at reaching both benchmarks.
I don't think Bush will get to 1000 yards receiving but it might be close.he would need 26 catches and 432 yards... both would be difficult in the remaining 4 games

IIRC, Terry Glenn holds the mark for rookie receivers with 90 or 91. Looks like Bush will hold that crown shortly. :banned:

 And, as an aside, if Boldin finishes with 100 catches this year, he'll be only the third receiver in history (I believe the first two are Jerry Rice and Marvin Harrison) to have 100 catches in three seasons.Impressive.

 Boldin broke TerryGlenn's rookie reception record and Randy Moss' rookie yardage record.

Cnsidering Boldin is about as good a "character" as there is in the NFL, and is too tough to ever be called "she," both records are now in the proper hands. ;)

If Bush's own teammate Colston hadn't missed the last 3 games, I think he would have had a reasonable chance of surpassing even Boldin.

more than reasonable. he was injured early enough in game 10 that his numbers are really through nine games, and they project out to:96 rec., 1544 yards, 12 TDs.

That said, Colston DID get injured and Boldin's rec/yard records are safe.

Harrison had 100+ catches in four consecutive seasons.Rice had exactly 100 in 1990 and then did it three years in a row - '94, '95, and '96.Rice and Harrison have done it four times each, Harrison is the only one to have more than three consecutive 100 catch seasons.Boldin better start really producing because he is currently on pace for 88 - he'll need 34 catches ths year (over 8 per game) to do it. I don't think it'll happen.

For No PPR Leagues:

FWIW, only Addai has a reaonsable chance of hitting 1G rushing. The rest would have to go OFF over the next four weeks to get there - Marnoy needs to average 94 per game and he's the closest after Addai. Addai only needs 155 in four games to get to 1G.

i'm rooting for DeAngelo.. 591 yards to go with 4 games to play.. just under 150 yards rushing per game.. which would do me well in my fantasy playoffs

I still think Norwood has a chance if he starts getting some more touches. Next week he may not, but I think this week he is still in the race.

Unless he gets all 591 yards next week I don't think your fantasy playoffs are going to last much longer.Sorry gb.
