Experts Unite: 2021 Keeper (1 Viewer)

2021 Keeper Options:

Darrell Henderson as a 14th round pick.
Chase Claypool as a 16th round pick.
Mike Davis as a 16th round pick.
Dallas Goedert as a 16th round pick.

On the surface, not terrible options...but also not great compared to the league I'm in.
Claypool was the obvious choice but second guessing Big Ben lasting a full season has me thinking Davis.
Any advice/thoughts welcome.

For a single keeper just keep the guy you think is ranked the highest of your choices.  To me it comes down to Claypool and Henderson.  One other factor I would take into account is if there are limits to the length you can keep someone.

At this point I would lean Henderson as I think he looked good last year in the first few games and the Rams should be a solid offense.  Claypool really dropped as the season went along and I do have worries that Big Ben can last the season.

I would throw Goedert out right off the top and second I would toss Henderson because there is no guarantee he will be the main guy by the time the season starts.   If you don't have to choose until right before the draft, then you might get some more clarity on Rams backfield situation.   That leaves Claypool and Davis, and to me, similarly ranked RB's are much more valuable than WR's.

Not knowing the scoring or set up of the league or who else might be kept, I would just keep the best player in the best situation and to me it's Mike Davis.  The guy is going to be the bell cow of a high powered offence.  You don't have anyone else on your list guaranteed as sure of a thing as that.  To me Davis is the easy choice here.

To add, it's a 0.5 PPR league - start 2 RB, 3 WR, and a Flex.

Lots of WR will be drafted which has me back and forth on Claypool especially if I can get him in the 16th. That said, Davis catches passes and really doesn't have much competition behind him. If he can hold up, I agree Davis would be a steal in the 16th...a solid Flex if nothing else.

I'm not really high on Claypool or Henderson really.  Claypool will probably be the 3rd option on the Steelers and maybe get to 65 receptions, so he will be really TD dependent I think.  However, I don't think Henderson can handle a full load either, so they will probably look to add someone to take some of the load because he probably won't be getting 20 touches a game.  That's why I think Davis the the easy choice here.  Lead backs with no competition are worth their weight in gold.

Plenty of WRs similar to Claypool...so I would not keep him.  I would be keeping Henderson as IMO, he is in a better situation with the LA Rams, and I will also assume, the RBs will be tougher to come by.
