If they already have him, you would not hear any more chatter in regards to house to house searches.Still waiting to confirm. From TPM
Arrest UpdateFBI is no-commenting reports that there is a person or suspect in custody in Boston. This comes after the Boston Police knocked down press reports to that effect.
Obviously there’s a lot of confusion and conflicting accounts at the moment. So we’re going to tell you exactly what we’ve been told by relevant authorities: The Boston Police Department said and still says they know nothing about an arrest. The FBI, however, is declining to comment on the report. Obviously these are not necessarily conflicting reports. It is also possible that federal law enforcement knows things that local law enforcementdoes not.
We’ll let you know more when we hear it.
Unless he's already hiding in his uncle's attic in DC.....There can't be that many places to hide, even in a major metropolitan area, and pretty much every free officer in the Northeast helping to try to corral the guy.
CBS Boston stated the Police told them they have 90% of the search area completed. There can't be that many places to hide, even in a major metropolitan area, and pretty much every free officer in the Northeast helping to try to corral the guy.
Are they searching him with robots too?Last party elderly male--Oof
They can't, most have dead batteries.I feel much better. Clearly, police aren't relaying any worthwhile info. over scanners. I was worried for a little while there.![]()
Did they make him get naked?Elderly male in custody from the 2nd floor.
I just scored some drugs, I'll be up all night.I have been drinking all day watching the news. I need to tap out. This is intense.
I think he probably ditched the hat by now.I heard "white Hat" and being cuffed on the scanner. Thought for sure that was it. Guess it was another guy in a white hat. Don't think I would have chosen a white hat on this particular day in the area.
Please keep race out of this.Don't you have a Brown College student to investigate so as prove to us all that the these brothers had nothing to do with itThis just in: Snogger wins 2011 Hipple Awards. All of them!![]()
I'm still a little puzzled as to how they lost track of him after exchanging gunfire. I know it was dark, but I'd think someone would have kept a bead on him.CBS Boston stated the Police told them they have 90% of the search area completed. There can't be that many places to hide, even in a major metropolitan area, and pretty much every free officer in the Northeast helping to try to corral the guy.

You now qualify for a job at CNN.Hey, I was wrong. I admit it. Now you admit that you were told 9 hours ago to go back and read what happened to catch up and quit ####### up the flow of information.Don't you have a Brown College student to investigate so as prove to us all that the these brothers had nothing to do with itThis just in: Snogger wins 2011 Hipple Awards. As am I. You would think they would have had at least a couple of choppers out and the cops were right there...did no one take off after him?I'm still a little puzzled as to how they lost track of him after exchanging gunfire. Uh No, he was throwing bombs behind him as he was running away.As am I. "...a 415 fight group, with chains and knives."Scanner: "132 and Bush, I got him at gunpoint."
It was late at night.. Unles copters had heat sensors they'd be no help.As am I. Tripped a motion sensor in a building they knew he went into. Can someone answer 2 simple questions for me like I'm snogger?
1. When he was last seen, was he on foot or in the car? I know he ran over his brother leaving the scene, but the current search seems like he escaped on foot and is hole up in vicinity.
2. What exactly started this last night? Neither is an MIT student, correct? What were they doing on campus and what happened with the office?
I'll hang up and listen.
just heard this, tooCNN female reporter on Watertown streets being empty just now

to 1. He drove a couple blocks away and either crashed or just abandoned the vehicle and escaped on foot. That's not true at all. Police choppers have huge spotlights on them. They are all over the place at night in L.A. when the police are looking for suspects at night. It was late at night.. Unles copters had heat sensors they'd be no help.As am I. He ran over his brother so I am assuming he was in a car...and I have seen enough of cops to know that they get their big spotlights going to track himIt was late at night.. So he left the scene in a car then entered a building? How do they know he tripped the sensor?Tripped a motion sensor in a building they knew he went into. Can someone answer 2 simple questions for me like I'm snogger?

Report disturbance at MIT. MIT officer responds and got shot. speculation from the sheer amount of bombs they had on their person suggests they were planning on planting bombs around the city last night.
Same elderly male in photo released yesterday of #2 leaving the marathon scene without backpack? The same guy who is smiling looking at #2 run away while everyone else's face is nothing but sheer terror? I wonder.Last guy was elderly male.
