I haven't signed up for a plan yet this season, actually debating it thanks to the amazing coverage of the mlb network who seem to really stay on top of their live look ins. mlb.tv is cheaper but I wonder about quality but net vid gets better by the day. Are the feeds netflix quality, better, worse? Do they drop out?

Is there any reason to go extra innings at this point? I saw the direct tv deals for it, are any cable companies matching it?

Before I getting the DTV deal, I'd pretty much changed my mind on getting the online package due to such horrid reviews. I haven't kept up with it this week though to see if it's improved. You should check out the support forums for MLB.TV at mlb.com to see what the latest is before signing up. Or you could just try it for a month. Don't forget the SI trial signup to save $10 (monthly) or $20 (annually) - only works with cc, not paypal.

I have them both and Extra innings is 100 times better imo. I use it with my wifi and its decent but it won't work with my blackberrt tether either. I almost wish I got a slingbox instead.

Slingbox from computer to TV or computer to blackberry. Does that work, comp to blackberry or in my case, ipod?

Im not sure but my tethering is letting me down.

Which one is that?For the price of a few dollars, a cable can put the interwebs on my 56" screen.

yeah, but don't you lose picture quality? my son hooked up my computer to the TV for a show I missed once. i'd rather go with Extra Innings.
