**Falcons at Buccaneers**(+2.5, 46) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Despite the injuries I will still take Tampa Bay today at home getting 2.5
Falcons are pretty good at times but they got rolled by Seattle and that would be a team on the level of Atlanta plus they lost at home and now on the road

Tampa Bay 22...Atlanta 21

That grassy field for the Bucs among the best in the NFL, could see some long runs on the ground both way today
 
Bucs are running out of receivers,that's scary.
Falcons offense has been clicking,that's scary.
A Falcon is a scary bird.
But a Buc is a scary pirate.
I think The Home Team will circle the pirate ships this week and pull a mild upset.
So...

Scary Home Dog Pirates- 30
Scary Visiting Raptors- 26
 
You know, I think I see a way forward for Tampa with recent losses at WR. Just lean into their 3-headed beast at RB. They look like a versatile bunch.
 
Damn benched Baker in every league this week just didn't think he could continue his magic down both stud WRs
 
Also once it was knocked out of his hands he could have just fallen on it but he didn't even care and let it go out of bounds

I don't think he was able to locate it until it was in the back of the endzone basically out of bounds.

I 100% agree where was the angel down the goal line it would been clear to see then and I think it was out before he crossed.

Pitts gets to learn a lesson without having to pay for it
 
I have no idea how EPSN ranked Cousins #17 QB after he tore up TB for 500 yards and 4 TD"s early this year.
 
I have a teammate that wanted us to bench Pitts for Taysom Hill today and I had to tell him .......... HOMIE DONT PLAY THAT

I said we are starting Pitts
 
Falcons playing very well for the 2nd time against the Bucs this season
14-pt lead entering the 4th plays well for a team with a 2-Back attack
 
I’m having a hard time understanding why Allgeier was in exclusively at the end of the game. Why wouldn’t you have Bijan in? Bijan does not fumble that ball that goes for a safety. I hate the RB usage with this team!

I realize there are some personnel issues. Every team has injuries though. Defensive head coach with the worst defense in the league?

At some point it’s on him.

Baker and Coen figured it out yesterday with only 5 days to prepare.

What is the point of a defensive head coach if your defense is horrible?

I swear they cannot let Coen leave after this year.
 
I really thought the Safety - TD, momentum on their side and then they couldn't get another drive.
Agree exciting and entertaining football, can't win 'em all. Lot of good things to build around
Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, agree on Coen but there might be a problem
What if they gotta fire Bowles, that doesn't mean Coen should just elevate to head coach, same time you want to keep him in the building
That could be a problem

I'm not placing the blame on Baker, he was doing everything he could to try and win the game of the Bucs, no issue there
Cade Otton is going to be a FF slot machine the ROS. Yeah sure it won't look like that every single week but they need hands right now and he was helping move the football
Credit Baker for making the team look as good as they did on offense, both RBs plenty of touches, almost 5 yds per carry each of them
Offense was not the issue IMHO and not sure why the defense looks so bad vs Atlanta

They got the safety and then scored on that drive to get it to 31-26.

Cousins and the Falcons then drove it into field goal range on Bowles’ defense essentially icing the game. Bucs’ last drive wasn’t executed well either. Almost looked like they hadn’t practiced a one minute drill. Possibly Baker hadn’t with these WRs.

And, it’s not just the defense. His time management continues to be bad. He doesn’t use his timeouts effectively. The FG at the end of the first half was cowardly. Everyone knew Cousins was going to drive it right back for their own and then get the ball to start the 3rd. Then a fake punt into 4 defenders with only 3 blockers costs them another TD.

He can’t manage the game.

100% agree. I felt like TB has improved but still has a long way to go, especially with time mgmt. That defense is a joke right now.

He took his first timeout at 3:07 left in the 4th quarter prior to a 3rd and 1 play. Did he think his defense was going to stop them from getting 1 yard on two plays?!

Yeah, you stopped the 3rd down run but they don’t actually have to punt or kick a FG there, Todd. Teams can actually go for it even if it’s longer than 4th and 1. Derp.

After they of course got the 1st down on a sneak they run it down to the 2:00 warning. Run it 3 times so the timeouts are gone. They missed the kick, but instead of about 1:50 they had 1:01.

He’s a dope.

Add in he got our WRs killed the week before in a meaningless game and god I’m just so irritated.
