Was glancing at his numbers and he seems to be a lock for close to 300 and 2 Td's on weeks when he plays a poor Dfense.

Are their better options that are cheaper? I feel like Sanchez, even though not playing great, should be good for at least 300 and 2 Td's as well?

I'm looking real hard at Kaep right now. He seems awfully low at 6700. He's at home vs SD. Avg of Dodd/Tremblay projections has him at 2.5 multiple. Seems like a lock to hit 2x value and a decent chance to hit 3x leaving room in salary cap at other positions.

For $200 more RGIII has way more upside and about the same floor IMO

I think I'm going to shy away from OBJ this week. Eli should be under a lot of pressure in StL and my struggle... plus he's got to come back to earth after monster games in 3 of his last 4, no?

This is all 100% true, and ordinarily I would be fading his completely for these reasons. But ODB has the perfect confluence of factors that might make him the strongest WR play this week and next. Consider those things that make a WR a strong play:Incredibly talented? Check

Largely uncoverable? Check

Bad rushing offense? Check

Bad defense? Check

No other legitimate receiving threat on team? Check

QB who's willing to target him and throw into triple coverage to get him the ball? Check

I'm not saying I've decided to roster him w/ impunity again this week, just that there are a lot of reasons to like him. In all honesty, I can't recall a WR having literally every possible factor in his favor like that. Even Eli, ordinarily a negative this year, is kind of a positive for him.

In my column, I've recommended ODB as a cash game play for four consecutive weeks--he met value each of those weeks, but I'm considering leaving him out this week for one reason: his salary.

At $9K on both major sites, he now needs 18 (FanDuel) and/or 22.5 (DraftKings) points to reach value. I'm not saying he cannot do it, but the Giants are only slated to score 19 points this week (Vegas Value Chart should go live any minute now)...with his salary and the Giants' projected team total, it will be difficult for him to reach value for DFS cash games, IMO.

He's still a GPP play, but I think this might be the week to get off the ODB train for your cash games.

I think if you're going to pay up, do it for a WR with a good QB vs a below avg defense like Calvin, ABrown or Jordy...

I'd be leery of Brown this week. KC is excellent against the pass. Bell even at $9,700 is the play IMHO.

Yeah I don't feel good about Kaep. He seems to hover between 10 - 14 points over the past half season even against bad teams. And they are now officially gone from playoff contention. I don't feel he has much upside.

Not sure about RG3 either. Can't take anything for granted with the Redskins offense this year and they are a team that feels like they've given up.

I'm thinking it might be best to stick with a QB for a team that's still got a shot at the postseason and playing for something.

Seems like Stafford does well against bad defenses, but struggles with any hint of a pass rush. It's been that way all year, depending on your opinion of MIN defense. Put up 21 against CHI a few weeks ago, i think they've gotten worse since then. I'd call him a lock for 20, O/U around 24? Decent shot to get you 3x ROI. I doubt he stops throwing it just because they're ahead by 2 or 3 scores, i think Stafford likes to get his licks in while he can since he gets stymied every time he faces even a decent pass D.

ok i hear that, maybe lock is a strong word. Lions are choke artists in general and Stafford in particular is definitely guilty. But i'm still expecting a high floor here and i'll stand by that O/U

I hate Stafford for my season long fantasy, but if you grab him for the right matchup, he's money.

Might not be as highly owned as one would expect, because they are outdoors on the road in DEC. But playing anyone against the Bears seems like a swell idea.

Might do half and half. 1/2 lineups with Staff, the other 1/2 with Bell.

I don't understand why they don't run more screens for Bush or Riddick (if they don't think Bush is capable). Bush got one for 10 yards early last week and didn't get anything else the rest of the game. Riddick has proven he can excel in the passing game too. Really seems like they're not utilizing them intelligently right now.

Going to mix in some Kaepernick as well. For this prices, I can stock up on Gronk+Seattle D and not take a hit elsewhere. Cheap rushing yards could be a great value...

For premium QBs this week, I like the Brady-Edelman-Gronk stack.

Definitely considering Keenum at $5000, and stacking the rest of my roster. Has worked very well for me the last 2 weeks with Fitz and DA… although I trust them much more than I do Keenum. Other than him though, I think I'm gonna pay up for guys like Brees, Brady, Luck, Rodgers.

Pretty high on mid price RB's this week. CJ Anderson, Fred Jackson and Tre Mason all seem to be primed for big weeks. Really want to fit Leveon in some lineups too even at $9700 cause the Chiefs don't defend the run well, but are good against the pass, so I think he'll get a ton of touches once again. None of the other studs really intrigue me other than Lacy a bit.

Megatron and Jordy are my top 2 receivers, but I'm not finding much depth. Like LaFell, Torrey Smith and Douglas (if Julio is out again) a lot for mid range options. Considering Nick Toon as a deep sleeper for GPP's, but that fumble on Monday night isn't helping his chances. Maybe Cole Beasley too since he's been more involved lately and Vonate will be on Dez a lot so Romo will have to look elsewhere sometimes?

Gronk has a prime matchup, and I'm gonna be paying up for him on most of my teams I think. I'll probably throw some Witten in there too when I'm loading on studs at RB and WR.

For defense, Seahawks and Lions have gotta be the top options with Lindley and Clausen starting for the opposing teams. Also like the Bills and Ravens (yes, I know that kind of contradicts Keenum). Definitely think it's a week to pay up for defenses.

I hate to dissuade anyone off of Manziel b/c I view anyone rostering him as someone finishing behind me. Consider this: He really didn't even beat-out Hoyer for the job. The answer to the question "Who gives the Browns the best chance to win?" is still "Brian Hoyer". And Brian Hoyer has been terrible for 2 months.

With Manziel struggling so much last week, I might throw the panthers D into a couple of my lineups.

So far I'm liking Stafford, Romo and maybe some Keenum/Clausen in a couple.

Lacy, Anderson, Ingram and possibly Alfonso Smith if Gore and Hyde are out. Debating on Stewart as well.

Jordy, Hilton, AJG, Charles Johnson and Malcolm Floyd are in most of my lineups.

Mainly looking at Gronk, Martellus and Witten.

Only cheap kicker I like this week is Graham.

I don't think it's a smart decision to have this as a definite strategy. I have no problem if you think that player will do well, but if the only reason is "to have a guy in the Sunday/Monday night game" then that's the easiest way to lose out on your best lineup possible.

In cash games, if there are 2 guys I like equally and 1 plays Sun/Mon night and the other doesn't, I'll go with the late play. Otherwise it makes no difference to me when guys play. Points are points.

That said, I will always have a cheap GPP that is Sun/Mon night-centric, just to add to the enjoyment of watching the game.

My 2 cents. I think the Jax D this week is a steal at $4700 bottom of the barrel. The Titans are putrid and it might be Whitehurts under center.

I also think CJ Anderson is incredible value when compared to Bell and others

Best week ever for me. I put a very small amount in play every week because season-long is still my jam, but I had Derek Anderson/ODB in all cash game lineups so I cashed in 100% of those, and my GPP teams were either Romo/Dez or Eli/ODB stacks, some with both Dez and ODB. Easy money. It really seemed like a fairly easy week to me all week leading up to Sunday and my only regret is that I didn't put more in play when I was that confident. I'm not sure what experts you read but it seemed to me that the best plays were pretty clear last week.

Getting a little concerned about Malcom Floyd now that Rivers is hurting. SD needs this game so I'd have to believe they'll do whatever it takes. With Allen likely out, I hope whoever is at QB will look to Floyd.

I typically play at least 2 lineups in cash games to hedge against one of them being a dud. I don't see that possibility for the Thu-Sat games. Outside of Sanchez, what QB do you play? RGIII, Kaep, a questionable Rivers? Ugh.

I have to believe McCoy and Maclin will be near 100% owned. Sanchez and Gates might be 80%.

This is what I'm rolling with for Thursday-Saturday. I liked Floyd this week as a bit of a contrarian pick until the news about Rivers hit yesterday - left me a little wary, so I swapped in Boldin. Honestly, kind of wish I hadn't bothered entering the few contests that I did, but feel pretty OK about this lineup.
