I can't possibly feel worse about my action in week 17 than I did in week 16. So I'm playing, baby!

Overall a huge disaster. One tourney lineup could potentially pull me out of the basement on DK.

$596 wagered, up $346, roi 58%. another solid week.

Anderson on the last drive boosted me about $150.

Total for year =

1748 FD + 459 DK on $250 each.

Repeating an observation I've had just about every week. I am destroying Draftkings. $25 deposited at the beginning of the year. Didn't truly start playing until about 5 weeks ago. Will end up with $1300. All of my success isdue to tourneys on DK. My lineup tonight was my first actual tourney lineup to hit. My other wins have mostly been cash lineups that hit.

Fanduel is the opposite. $25 deposited. Account got no higher than $100 and it sits at $43 now. Horrible record in tourneys, and only successes were in cash games.

I can't really explain it. I tend to use very similar players on both sites. I don't necessarily find putting roster together any easier on DK. Just hard to explain.

I've had almost the complete opposite experience. What sort of games (dollar amounts) are you playing on both sites, exactly? Looking at your returns, it looks like you've hit a couple big tourneys on DK for the vast majority of profits, with cash games at both sites below 10%.

I've had much more success since focusing exclusively on the $1 and $2 50/50s, Doubles, and other tourneys at FD. Also spent some time cherry picking 3 and 5 player leagues against novice opponents. I don't think I've had a negative week on FD since about week 4. A "bad" week for me has been breaking only about 10-15%. Good weeks between 50-90% return. One awesome week at about 2.5-3x (Fitzpatrick 6 TDs).

I play mostly cash games but always stack my entries with a few tourneys and quintuples, etc. I don't usually field "cash only" or "GPP only" lineups. But I don't take many contrarian plays, either. When I hit the tourneys, it's usually for a small 3-5x return. For this reason I'm realizing that the 250 player leagues and quintuples are better to stack than the regular $1 and $2 GPPs.

On DK, I've only played the "beginner" games, mostly in $50 and $20 50/50s with an occasional $10 and $25 triple. Sampled a few GPPs but could never cash. Maybe my problem is that I've been in the higher dollar games? Thought this would be corrected somewhat by sticking with the beginner games.

I think it's crazy to play any kind of fantasy in week 17. I'm not putting any money on FD.

not any more crazy then any other week IMO..just off the top of my head..Players from Packers, Lions, Seahawks, Patriots, Steelers, Bengals, Carolina, Falcons and probably others are all good plays.

Sure, you can find plenty of players with something to play for. That's not what i'm worried about. I'm worried about random guys you could never predict having huge days against defenses that don't care. There are a handful of games where you can make reasonable predictions about how the game will go but the rest of them you have no idea, and that's the field you're playing against.

Virtually no contests are above $5. Most are $2 cash games and tourneys. I have definitely hit a few big tourneys, but my win % is 33% compared to just 18% on FD in tourneys.
