One of those weeks I'm kicking myself for NOT putting my cash lineup into a GPP.

Ranked no worse than 5th in all 20 cash games I put this in. And of course my GPPs, which are more "contrarian", are tanking.

Huge bummer because it could have been a huge week. Sitting on Miller going tomorrow night. Need about 40 from him. Yeah, right.

Good calls on gurley and watkins...surprised by gurley's reemergence after bad weeks...thought the rams had laid down (fisher is cursing me).

Here's the backstory in case you guys want to know how to build a good lineup.

1. Newton - Girlfriend's son (gfs) and I are going to watch the Panther's game, both are huge fans. We debated on a QB and decided to go Cam because it would make the game more fun.

2. Olsen - Gotta stack Newton's favorite target.

3. Ginn Jr - gfs didn't want to use Ginn Jr. because he drops everything. I said do you like Cotchery or Brown better? Plus no one win be riding Ginn after last week right?

4. Gurley - Told gfs to pick one player from his favorite college team Georgia. Gurley is his favorite Ga player and was due for a big game.

5. Miller - Told gfs to pick one player playing Monday Night so we could be cheering for someone Monday Night to win it for us rather than just having to sweat everything else playing. Would have preferred OBJ but couldn't make him fit.

6. Baldwin - This was my only real call. Just riding his hot streak plus Balt pass D is really bad.

7. Carolina D - gfs wanted to play them. I know it breaks the gpp rules but we were hoping for a Carolina blowout.

8. Barth - Cheap and ranked high by FBG. Freaking hate kickers.

9. Watkins - Last spot to fill, was down to Watkins or Cooks both who had great match ups. We could decided so we took it to his mom who thinks this is gambling and hates gambling. I suggested making this a family activity and she pick the last player. Gave her two options Watkins and Cooks. She asked what their first names were and then said "Sammy sounds faster so pick him." So you see, this real is skill and not luck.

It was pretty exciting seeing Ginn catch two long ones off the bat. Just needed one more quarter from Cam/Ginn/Olsen and it would have made for a really good story.

Thanks. Up to 17th. 5th or 6th is a possibility with 11 more points.

Because of some tax issues due to a job change (going from paying in arrears to paying in advance), this is really is could be a difference from an IOU to actual Christmas for the kids.

Forgot to mention one of the reasons why we settled on Miller. Stinkin Ref and I co-own a team in the IBL. Ref was benching Miller this week. He goes off every week we sit him.

I'm on the fringe of cashing in the Platinum with Miller and ODB going. What is interesting is Condia and 1ucror are slightly closer...and they have identical lineups. What's up with that?

Also in 24th in a mini Dive with ODB and Parker. Don't think anyone ahead of me has Parker. Cmon Parker do something...haven't been watching much, hopefully he's playing.

I honestly dont understand how a defense can lose ODB like that for a 84 yard score. He is the best player on the field so they figure lets try something new and not cover him?

How do people feel about Doug Baldwin? Chasing points, or found his consistency with Wilson?

Against Ravens D you gotta play Wilson / Baldwin in at least one lineup. I didn't play Baldwin last week since I thought it would be chasing points. Fool me once, shame on you... This week it's my own fault if I don't jump on the train.

Worked out well, played Wilson / Baldwin combo in 3 leagues, including a 20 player winner take all and I'm down 17 pts with Miller/ODB/Tye remaining so should win all 3 leagues barring anything crazy. The league leaders have no players remaining.

Killed it tonight. Those 3 remaining guys got me over 60pts and I cleaned up in all my leagues.

Thoughts on the bolded? These two are both near the top of the top when it comes to the pros. I'm sure some of these guys are starting to "combine" their efforts, but to have the same lineup in a freeroll...I think that's pretty strange.

Finished +123 after a good night from Manning / Beckham.

Highest finish was 67th out of 4100 in the $25 single entry for the week with Rawls / Draughn at RB . Could have been a really good week if Rawls was healthy.

Thanks for posting it. I would guess they are communicating in some way to have the exact same lineup. There are simply too many variables for it to happen by chance.

I will look for both of their lineups in any events I am in this week to see if this continues.

I played 1ucror in a league and he had Dalton for 1.36pts. Didn't feel too sorry for him as I'm sure he's taken lots of my $ over the years.

Thank you, terrible Dolphins defense. I was 80% exposed to ODB. He was the difference between losing and winning. After getting hammered last week I was on a bit of a tilt this week with about double my "normal" exposure. I didn't win anywhere near enough to recover from last week's debacle, but I got some of it back at least.
