I complied a sheet ranking players at QB, RB, WR, and TE for the 2006 Draft and i would just like to hear your thoughts about it. All comments are welcome.

Rankings are based on total points scored this season and the following scoring system:

1 point per 10 rushing yard

1 point per 10 receiving yards

1 point per 25 passing yards

2 points per reception

1 point per completion

6 points all TD's

Here's the link

A few initial obersvations:1. Why is SA ranked so low in the RBs?2. Tiki Barber is kind of high considering he rarely gets TDs.3. I would rank Heath Miller higher in the TEs5. Randy Moss is a steal at 15.6. Edge is ranked too low.7. Westbrook is too high.8. You think McCown & Harrington will start next year? 9. McNabb is too high with no TO.10. Tatum Bell is too high - he won't start next year IMO.11. Chester Taylor won't start IMO - Lewis will start again - he'll get another chance.12. I would put Carnell Williams higher.

I put Alexander so low because with that scoring system he's only the #5 RB. Plus if Westbrook wouldn't have gotten injured he was on pace to be the #1 RB. I know, it's a stupid system.

and at 2 points per reception, I don't see how Fitz and Boldin can be lower than Chad. Too many weapons in Cincy to spread it out.

Good list, but did you mean to leave off Edge? I would think he is no lower than 5. Also, what is your thinking about ranking Alexander so low?

I would say that numbers 4-7 (Tiki, Alexander, Westbrook, James) are all pretty close to each other, so all of those names are pretty much interchangable.I put Alexander so low because although he does score a lot of touchdowns, 3 catches earns the same amount of points as a touchdown and other backs catch more passes.

My first look, I was very surprised with the list, but then saw that its TWO PTS PER RECEPTION, which would make RBs like Alexander less valuable and up the value in Westbook or Jordan immensely. If Westbrook caught 5 balls, that would be like running for 100 yards. Wow. Talk about a heavy emphasis on receptions.
