Which players have you decided it was time to pull the plug on ?

Mercades Lewis for me. Had such high expectations for him. Didn't think he would match his TD's from last yr but I did expect some production. The QB situation has hurt him but not as much as he has hurt himself with dropped balls.

Dynasty League: Traded Peyton Manning (I've owned him since 2004) for Josh Freeman. The team I traded him to is probably making the playoffs and hopes he'll be back. I'm not making the playoffs, so Freeman is a decent QB with upside.

In the same league, I am shopping Gates (who I've owned since his 2nd season) - I have Finley and snagged F. Davis off WW early in the year. Same reasoning - I aint playing for 2011, so might as well get what value I can for him.

Jahvid Best.

Tried trading him for 3 weeks. I dropped him on Sunday Morning, Week 7 (10/23). The last place team in my division picked him up in Wednesday morning waivers.

I believe the Lions will be extremely careful with him. Even if Best does come back after their bye, Week 10, I'm simply afraid he will suffer his 3rd concussion this year and be shut down.

I cannot worry about him. I will leave that up to himself, his family, Doctors, team, etc...

I wish Jahvid Best just that, the best.

I've got a few. Luckily I didn't have all these guys in the same league...

Percy Harvin. Just became too much of a headache (pun or no pun, your choice) with the injuries -- will he play, will he not play, will he finish the game, etc., bad QB play, bad game planning not getting him involved, doesn't get into the endzone, yada yada yada.

Lance Moore. Graham and Sproles killed his fanasty value.

Nate Burleson. Stafford just seemed to quit looking his way after Week 2.

I also dumped Plaxico Burress last week, and of course he goes off for 3 scores. I think it's a fluke, though. He looks old and doesn't appear to give a lot of effort.

Devery Henderson - Moore and Colston came back and doesn't seem like they have enough to go around

Jermichael Finley - not impressed by his drops and 1-2 catch games

CJ Spiller - Had him as Jackson's handcuff, meh. Waste of a roster spot.

I'm starting to feel like manningham might ride the pine the rest of the season...I don't see much on the WW that is a huge upgrade and I'm nearly out of roster moves.

Most leagues I targeted him and Harvin, Holmes, MWTB.

WR is rough for me.

Manningham blows up starting this week

Ingram..

Can't wait no more, it Ain't gunna happen..

There is just to much in the Saints backfield, Sproles is the only one to keep there.

I think even in keeper leagues you could get rid of him an not worry, I don't see much

changing in the Saints backfield next year either, I'm done with him..........

In deep leagues where running back pickens are slim he's a number 2 to 3, but all the

hype I drafted him high in 2 leagues an got hosed in the process. (killin me)

Wow so many. Big roster dynasty league, so some of these guys are unstartable in standard leagues:

Plug Pulled:

Addai

Jacoby Jones

Andre Roberts

Lance Kendricks

Got my hand on the plug

Lance Moore

Jared Cook

Denarius Moore

Redraft League

Mike Williams

Mark Ingram

I'm not sure why you'd give up on Kendricks and Moore in a dynasty league...

Mercedes got dropped from my team after week 1, then I dropped Jacoby Ford, had to drop Kenny Britt and then dropped Jahvid Best (Picked him back up though) Also I unloaded Romo for WR help because I also owned Vick. Traded him for Dez. I have also dropped a whole slew of WR's before pulling that move- Mike Thomas, Crabtree, DHB, McCluster and Floyd.

depends on how much bench spots you have and who else is out there. I do think the Saints will run more later in the season as they get the center position sorted out and if Ingram is healthy enough he will be the prime guy.

I can't think of a season where I have had so many guys who were supposed to blow up and fail:

-Sam Bradford

-Jamaal Charles (not really his fault)

-Vincent Jackson

-Jeremichael Finley

-Felix Jones

-Reggie Bush

-Mike Sims-Walker

-Lee Evans

-Chad Ocho Cinco (not really sure I would categorize him as blowing up but some people had high expectations)

Lance Moore, Graham just kills him Ithink. Have in both redraft and dynasty. If he moves to another team maybe in the dynasty but not sure what those prospects are.

Hillis. Injured and disgruntled. I hope something shows up by fantasy playoff time but I aint counting on it.

Reggie bush, just doesn't look as dynamic as he once did. Maybe his team just doesn't know how to use him.

My bad I meant in terms of keeping them out of my starting lineup (our starting lineups are pretty big). There's nothing on our waiver wire at all so they'll be riding the bench.

Ehh I change my mind, Kendricks belongs in the "got my hand on the plug" column. I believe his goose-egg came with Bradford out. I researched his stats a bit, it's pretty clear they don't trust him in pass protection so it makes sense that he didn't see much snaps vs a blitz happy Rob Ryan Defense.

Indy & StL were the games to have him for during the bye weeks. Too bad about the injury. Ingram will have a 2-3 TD game, it will happen, Payton is setting it up with the Collins goal line work, I can see it. But if anyone pegged Ingram as their every week RB2 by then it will be too late. Again, too bad about the injury; he may play but he will be limited for a couple weeks if so.And by the way I am still a very big fan of the trade up to get him, I still think it's a big part of their early season success and totally worth it and will definitely be worth it come NFL playoff time.

not sure why I held him for so long, but today finally dropped Knox to pick up Tawain Jones off the wire in a PPR dynasty league.

In chronological order:OchoD-willGrantAddaiI'm getting close to cutting bait on Starks, Ingram, Torain, and Thomas.
Yea Rodgers is bad for Starks, who seems like the prototypical 80 yards and a TD type of grinder running back to me. With Rodgers being such a big threat to steal that TD, I finally "pulled the plug" on Starks. Traded him for Beanie Wells when his injury seemed serious. Figured Starks wouldn't see my starting lineup anyway, might as well take a chance with Beanie.

Lance Moore

Nate Burleson

Dropped both of them this week to pick up players my opponent might scoop for bye week fill ins.

I'm currently holding the plug on Manningham. I might hold the plug all season just so he can be a backup.
