Fantasy Players that Outperform their Ability (1 Viewer)

Tom Brady - Good head...above average arm...4 leaf clover up his ###

Marc Bulger - same as above minus 4 leaf clover

Shaun Alexander - so SLOW

Denver Mike Anderson - see above

Denver Rueben Droughns - see above

Emmitt Smith - relatively straight line and not very fast

Derrick Mason form a few years ago when he was catching 100+ balls

Culpepper should get consideration here. While his turnovers were costing the Vikings real NFL games, the rest of his stats were winning more than a few FFL championships.

Keyshawn Johnson, especially in PPR leagues.
Really? The 1.01 overall pick a few years back? The guy that was hyped as one of the best WRs ever coming out of college? Now, he outperforms his value most years, he's underrated now, but out of college, he had the ability to be elite.

Zack Crockett as a RB. He scored how many 1 yard TDS??

Guys in my leagues would plug him in as a RB2 in basic scoring.. lol.

He is a pretty good FB though.

I'm assuming FF vs. ability TODAY is the question.Keyshawn feels like the new Rod Smith to me. Possession receiver, not much more.

 I'll agree with that.

QB: Kurt Warner

WR: Eddie Kennison

And the easiest answer of all

RB: LT - No one in the league has ever had 2x the ability of the majority of NFL starting RBs. If LT did have 2x the ability of Rudi, Edge, or even R. Bush...he'd be hanging 1000 FF pts each year.

excellent thread topic

keeping thses guys on your radar will help you know when to move a player when/if his situation changes...

e.g. Kitna, if he weren't playing for Martz right now or on a club that had no QB's he wouldn't be a Top 10 QB... now if Peyton Manning were to change clubs...... I think we'd still see great production

someone whose fantasy production underperforms their athletic ability? Tom Brady although he had a pretty big year last year. The nature of the Pats offense limits his production. The Pats were a weaker team this year so his production increased due to more passing. Put Brady in a pass happy offense (like Martz's for example) and he'd be fantasy :goodposting:  :lmao: all the ability in the world

Willie Parker: Amos Z looked pretty damn good in thatr offense, and I really dont think Parker is a top ten fantasy back, and I think he may have RBBC coming for him.

Chester Taylor: Obvious reasons

Jericho Cotchery
