Fantasy teams with no business being in the playoffs (1 Viewer)

On the back of the 'teams that wont make the playoffs' thread im interested to see what teams have made the playoffs in your league, but who ultimately have no business being there.

I personally have one of those teams, dynasty league 1st overall last year. Finished this year with a 5-7 record but due to tiebreakers (won all but one Divison game) I snuck in.

Team doesn't stand a chance and should never have been there. Main lineup from this year

Freeman

Tolbert

BJGE/Momo

Green

Bryant

Decker/Burleson

Hernandez.

Anyone got anything close to that bad in the playoffs?

I am in a 10 team league and am the second highest scoring team but will miss the playoffs. I have over 300 more points scored against than the next team

5 of 7 losses were to the highest scoring team of the week. 4 of the times I was the second highest scoring team. Just chalk it up as one of those years. The FF gods were not in my corner this year.

This guy is tied for second in the league at 8-4. He's dealt with injury issues at QB (lost Matt Schaub), but otherwise hasn't dealt with any major issues. He won a couple games early based on the huge Wes Welker games.

QB - Andy Dalton, Matt Moore

RB - Rashard Mendenhall, Pierre Thomas, Michael Turner, Lance Ball, Jacquizz Rodgers

WR - Wes Welker, Desean Jackson, David Nelson, Malcolm Floyd, Titus Young

TE - Heath Miller, Brandon Pettigrew

Guy in my league is starting weekly

QB Stafford

WR B. Marshall

WR Nate Washington

RB Mendenhall

RB Starks

TE Ballard

This dude lucks out week after week. Only averaging 83 points per game but he's also got the least amount of points scored against so he's 8-4. Half the time he doesn't bother to set his lineup and he's only made 2 transactions all year.

Meanwhile, I'm averaging 112 points per game, tops in the league, but I have the second-most points scored against. And I have to fight this clown for the last playoff spot.

I can't post yet because our league hasn't been finalized for playoffs but if I make it my team would be one of them for sure.

I'm fighting for a final playoff spot in a 12 team league where my roster looks like this:

QB: Rodgers

RB: Blount, Mendenhall, Wells, McGahee

WR: Calvin, Nicks, Maclin, Simpson

TE: Celek, Gresham

K: Hanson

D: (varies, currently Atlanta)

I'd be one of the worst teams in the league if it weren't for Rodgers. Obviously injuries have been a problem, (lost Best to IR, Maclin and Nicks have constantly been a pain) but it just amazes me that this team has managed to go 7-5 (6-1 to start the season) and scored the 2nd most points.

8 team league, non-PPR, and this guy is still in the playoff hunt (playoffs start Week 15 for us).

QB-Palmer, Rivers

RB-Blount, DWilliams, Matthews, KSmith

WR-Jennings, VJackson, SJohnson, Holmes

TE-Olsen

Flex-Foster

DST-Bears, Eagles

12 team PPR league: I am probably going to miss the playoffs...I am the high scorer in the league by 120 points, but I am 5-7...PF 1903.32, PA 1987.72...next highest PA is 1598.58

My Team:

qb-Rivers

wr-Nicks

wr-Fitzgerald

wr-Dez

flex-Stevie/Santonio/Finley

rb-L Mccoy

rb-Best/K Smith/Morris/Starks/Tate

te-Graham/Finley

#1 Team:

qb-palmer/young/whoever

wr-sidney rice/riley cooper

wr-nate washington/heyward bey

wr-arrelious benn/austin

rb-fred jackson/sproles

rb-bush/mendenhall

flex-mendenhall/bush

te-fred davis

def-baltimore

no ####!

If I win this week and someone else (a 15 pt underdog) loses, I make the playoffs with the worst team I've ever had in fantasy football.

QB Vince Young, Tim Tebow

RB: Marshawn Lynch, Roy Helu, Donald Brown

WR: Hakeem Nicks, Mario Manningham, Lance Moore, Denarius Moore, Doug Baldwin, Johnny Knox

TE: Vernon Davis

Draft was:

1. Jamaal Charles

2. Hakeem Nicks

3. Jahvid Best

4. Peyton Manning

5. Vernon Davis

6. Mario Manningham

7. Joseph Addai

8. Marshawn Lynch

9. Robert Meachem

10. Lee Evans

11. Rashad Jennings

12. Delone Carter

13. Ricky Williams

14. Kicker

15. Defense

I drafted like a total idiot, but thanks to Marshawn Lynch, I now have a chance.

OK, well here is my playoff fighting roster:

QB: Brady, Sanchez, Painter

RB: MJD, Mendenhall, Greene, Ringer, Redman

WR: A.J. Green, Maclin (not starting), Damian Williams, David Nelson, Greg Little, Torrey Smith, Jerome Simpson, Jacoby Ford

TE: Finley, F. Davis

K: Gostkowski

D/ST: GB

What?? It sucks having the highest scoring QB and WR on the same team, along with 4 Starting RB's.

My team stinks but I finalized for the playoffs with a week to go (only a 10-teamer)

Here's who I'm rolling with right now (not sure what I'll do at RB once Peterson is back maybe Marion Barber... I do have Kevin Smith but need him to get healthy)

Tebow

Steven Jackson, Toby Gerhart

Steve Smith, Percy Harvin, Mike Williams (TB), Laurent Robinson

Fred Davis

Dan Bailey

New England DST

7of 10 players were on the Waiver Wire at some point this year.
