I wonder if FFC changed their description somehow, that makes my work laptop recognize it now as a time-waster?
As an IT manager myself, I can tell you that if your company is running monitoring software they can choose to block any website they want. And with the right software they can view reports to see exactly how much time you spend on any website.A couple of years ago my company asked me to give them a network usage report. This happened to be during The Masters golf tournament. I printed out some nice bar graph charts showing that sports websites covering The Masters were getting about 4x the amount of hits compared to work-related sites that particular Friday. The report even showed names of employees, ranking them in order of the highest bandwidth usage. I blurred out the names in my report though, so they couldn't single out anyone.
