I don't know. I just saw "3D CGI Explosions 8" and it's going to be hard to beat.
Saw a commercial for the new Alien movie and there was a quick cut to a ridiculous looking CGI alien and it basically made me not want to see the film.

Wish I had time to read all this. Needless to say, this is my favorite TV show by a huge margin, and I am geeked about season three.

It's frustrating, but I still know a lot of people that waste their time and money on terrible movies and yet they refuse to see that TV has replaced movies for serious, quality entertainment. I'm 50, so I remember when cable TV began. Critics stated that the product would be garbage. And now in 2017, there are several shows that are better than almost all the modern movies.
I used to think I was a movie buff.  I've barely watched any the last 15 years.

I haven't enjoyed it as much so far as the first two seasons or as much as the current season of Better Call Saul.  Trying to figure out why and I think it's because I just don't care about any of the characters anymore.  None of these new guys get me excited to cheer for them.

Yeah it's not nearly as good as any of those

Enjoying this season as much if not more than previous seasons.  VM Varga is no Lorne Malvo but it's close.

Very good episode. The shifting forward and backward in time was well done. And Carrie Coon can walk around in jeans for as much screen time as she wants as far as I'm concerned.

I can help.

anybody else bothered that Ennis Stussy is 82 in 2010 and Thaddeus Mobley appears to be around 27 in 1975?

always nice to see Leland/Bob. he's gotta figure somewhere, right?

I'm 30 minutes into episode 3 and just realized than Ewan McGregor plays both Ray and Emmit.

And the Zimmerman guy didn't age as quickly either. Bothered me quite a bit

I saw an interesting theory about Ennis Stussy but don't want to spoil it.

So on my rewatch right now I just got the idea that Ennis Stussy was a witness/survivor of the massive gunfight/massacre that ended season 2. He witnessed the UFO, he's been obsessed with it since he saw it. He wrote Sci Fi to cope. What do you guys think?

Felt like a throw away episode for me - I would have rather watched them in an Arby's for an hour talking about don't-cha-knows and alright-thens.

The luxury of episodic television - take an hour to make you fall in love w a character and tell an odd story. I like that, but i'd like it more when there's more than 10 eps a season.

Agree - I didn't think it was necessarily a bad episode, but just felt like they didn't move the main plot forward much at all in this past episode.

Just started watching Ep3 and was immediately thrown by that 1975 date...makes no sense at all.

Came here to find out if I'd missed something.

it was a flash back of the step dad that was murdered in the first episode ...his daughter /cop is looking into his past trying to find a clue not knowing his death was a case of mistaken identity

he's saying the stepdad was 82 in 2010 when he died and 35 years earlier in 1975 he appeared to be 25 years old and certainly not in his 40s which he should have been.

Did you not see the post that I replied the above response towards?

The step dad was like 80+ years old.

This happened in 2010.

Flashback shows him to be in his 20's.

Let's say he's 29, just for giggles...add 35 and he should only be 64.

Even if he was 39 in the flashback, it doesn't make sense.

For this to make any sense, he has to be lying about who he is...

The waitress she found seems about right in age...so how does that work?  Did he age 20 years faster than her?
