Topic of the day seems to be driving... This is pretty straightforward. MPH for any non-American poster

Anyone over 150mph please post automobile driven.

I think it was about 140 in a 2010 Nissan 370z. I looked it up and max speed is 155 and I know I had it maxed but I don't think I hit that high.

145-ish in an Audi TT RS and 175-ish in a McLaren F1 (I chickened out going faster since it wasn't my car, and I wasn't familiar with it)

My Taurus SHO had a 140 MPH speedo. Had that buried on the German Autobahn south of Munich.

120ish is about the most I've driven here.

My slowpaz from college made it to 90 once. I think. Needle was below the dash and we were going really downhill. Not sure how fast we were going. A lot of car rattling though.

I think I had a death wish when I was younger.

I drive 80+ daily.

Fastest I've driven in a car - I had the speedometer pegged at 140 in a suped up 1966 Mustang.

1st dumbest Motorcycle 200+ on a busa

2nd dumbest was driving my Tahoe at well over 120. To be fair, that range or whatever I was chasing had NOS and blew me away at that crazy speed.

about 140 a few times...did a couple euro-deliveries for bmw's and had the top speed governor removed. one trip was germany, austria, and switzerland. the other was france (started in munchen and drove right in alsace the day we picked up the car)

When I was about seventeen I hit 105 in a BMW 318i for about ten seconds. And I was in the left lane. But it wasn't an interstate and there was nobody around for miles.

Did about 110 right after I bought my first car at 16. Would have gone for more but I was approaching a curve. And now I'm too afraid of a massive fine to go much over 80.

Many times at ~100 in my 1962 Buick LeSabre on country (gravel) roads. Seat belts? pfffft.

Wow was I a stupid kid.

Were those speeds on a track?
Yeah, hockenheimring, or nurburgring, I forget which one. We did 2 outings a year for 3-4 years
175 is nuts.
Yeah, it's fast for sure. With a little more room in the seat and some experience in the car, maybe I could've done a lot more though. I think the F1 topped out at 240-ish.

110 in an 85 Chevy Blazer. Even my dumb ### teenage mind figured out that the suspension was really, really not built for that. I had very little control left - and this was on New Orleans city streets (which suck balls). Not my smartest day.

Got into the low 120s in a Nissan Altima on a country highway in the middle of nowhere.

I drove this GMC Sierra pickup in college and it had a governor that kicked in at some absurdly low speed like 94 MPH. I remember trying to drive that thing as close as possible to the limit while staying under it.

####ty car: Chevy Celebrity- 105.

Decent car: WRX- ~120-125. That car was fun. Got to 40 mph pulling up a 50 ft driveway one time.

I took a relatively new dodge neon to 119 on a farm road. Needed a down hill to get there. The engine cuts off at that speed.

150+ a few times in a 2000 Pontiac trans-am, finally got caught 157 mph in a 55 zone, tickets and lawyer, court fees were almost $1000.00
