Josh Hamilton - Also plays all-out, which is fun to watch but unfortunately leads to frequent injuries. :sadbanan
Well, only because his third base coach "made" him. He didn't really want to.
Thanks for your contribution, but I was thinking more of the crashing into walls/ground he does in the outfield. Takes a toll on a body of that size. Especially one that was badly mistreated for several years.

You're welcome for the contribution. The dude is a bum, lost all respect from me after that quote. Lots of players run into walls and dive for fly balls. Not many of them complain about being sent home to try and score a run ("You play to win the game", right?), and there certainly aren't many of them that would essentially blame their coach for an injury. It's part of the game, Chachi. Maybe your shoulder wouldn't be so brittle if you had laid down the crack pipe at some point in the last decade. I'm tired of everyone portraying this guy as some sort of hero for honoring his contract and playing baseball like he agreed. There are thousands of guys with the heart to play this game that would kill for his natural abilities.

Congrats on showing up to work sober, guy.

Seems like a bit of an overreaction to me.

Well, to be fair, I didn't have much respect for him prior to the comment. He lost what little I had left. Not that he nor you should care, JMO.
