Voted "Arc of a Diver" but "Spanish Dancer" should have at least been on the list.

Love his version of Timmy Thomas' "Why Can't we Live Together"

Off his penned solo work - I like Night Train a lot.

John Barleycorn Must Die

Then Low Spark of High Heeled Boys
Agreed, but doesn't seem right to mix in Traffic (or Blind Faith or Spencer Davis) with the solo stuff. If we're only talking solo, I'd go with "Arc Of A Diver".
JBMD is one of the top 10 albums of all time. I think I would have to go with something he penned himself, tho. I love every cut on that album. For a single song, I'd have to go with Low Spark, but the rest of that album pales to Barleycorn.

High-Heeled Boys has anthemic status with me cuz it was played over & over at the parties surrounding our HS graduation. Love it, but always preferred "Can't Find My Way Home", from Blind Faith.

I've been listening to Winwood songs today and figured I'd check and see if you did one of these, EB, which I apparently missed. I can't decide, so, for now, am adding some good ones not in the poll or mentioned.

Groups- Paper Sun; Glad (I guess this is a cheat, but my favorite Traffic song, and he does play on it)

Solo- Talking Back to the Night, Spy in the House of Love

When it was new, I had a bit of the instrumental from The Finer Things on my answering machine greeting. :bag:
