Favre / P Manning bashing (1 Viewer)

No one quoted him HERE and somehow you managed to know what the two articles he posted were about.

The ignore function must be down again, or someone must have clicked the "read this post" option...
 He was quoted Post #3 of the thread & thread titles show.

It's an update on Green + he's a Packer homer.

2 + 2 = 4 ain't rocket science Kleck :lmao:
It's OK to admit you read the articles. There was some nice info in them.

Nahhh...don't think so buddy

Question to Packer fans...

Why would a Packer fan care what a non-Packer fan thought about Brett Favre? If everybody outside of Wisconsin thought Brett Favre was an attention whore, why would one care?

When Manning plays in the playoffs (big games) like he plays in the regular season, then maybe he won't get bashed. Until then, the choker label fits him.

Favre gets bashed partly because of the lovefest some media people have for him, especially Madden and Salisbury. Goodness, that stuff gets old.

Comparing the two, Manning never plays his best when it matters, at least Favre has, plus he has a lot more mental toughness than Manning.

Understandable. For someone leading the "Ignore Fla\/\/ed" campaign, it was funny to see you make your way into a thread he started. Deep down you know you're interested in what he says. You can deny that too so you don't lose respect from your fellow haters, we'll understand. ;)

:lmao: The thread had info on Ahman Green and his status yet you don't think it had nice info. :lmao: Sorry it didn't have enough info on Gado for you.

By the way... if you have me on ignore how can you know what info the article contained?

Envy -> Jealousy -> Hatred -> Bashing

It's in some people's nature to be jealous of the success of others and hate what they can't have. The more the media gets involved with certain players, and the more love that player receives from their fans, the more some people will hate and bash at any opportunity they can get.

Favre and Manning are future HOFers. Bash them all you want when they struggle, but in the end, they'll be remembered for their greatness. They'll be enshrined and become legends. Some people will hate that, and there is nothing anyone can do or say to stop it.

Excellent post, I think Favre bashers can easily be placed in this category because he has the stats, the ring, and a lock on Canton.Right now, Manning has the stats, but the ring eludes him. If he gets a title, he eliminates any valid criticism. Marino will be forever known as a the best to never win the big one, and you know it kills him. Like it or not, QB's are measured by championships more so than any other position.

Not so sure about that. I hear lots of people who refer to Mario as "the greatest QB ever to not win a SB."You think Manning would be happy with that lable? Or that it really rings of "greatness?"
