Mark Rosen of WCCO-TV in Minneapolis said on KFAN Radio today that he has several high-up sources at Green Bay saying Favre will retire as soon as today. Don't shoot the messenger.

Are you trying to imply Vikings fans would start false rumors about Favre retiring?I am a Vikings fan and personally I hope Favre plays for years and years. He is completely done, he hasn't done anything to help that team in at least 3 years.Speaking for all the Viking fans I know… please Favre, DON’T retire.

As much as I disliked Favre's stringing along the retirement talk this off season, I'd be very surprised if he retired now that the season has started. It just does not seem like something he would do at all.

Im liking my driver, Green, and Jennings picks alot more as they are all likely to improve. Favre is washed up

Driver is Favre's favorite target so I'm not sure his value rises. Besides, I'm not of the opinion that Rogers is going to do any better. The O Line is bad this year. It doesn't matter who's back there calling the plays, they're going to get killed.
