So I have a commish in an 8 team redraft league that allows future draft picks to be traded. The commish makes a trade at the trade deadline and receives Verlander and miggy cabrera for his 3rd and 7th rd picks next year. The owner the commish trades with is one week away from being eliminated from the playoffs. Been in the league four years, rule has always been in there allowing it but it smells to me. Not a fan of trading draft picks in a keeper league. We always seem to be searching for that 7th and 8th owner every year.

I'm a little confused. Do you mean a non-keeper league? If so, I agree. I've actually never even heard of a straight redraft league that allows trading of future year's draft picks.

Yes, it is a non-keeper league.
