Hey guys -- a few things:
It looks like the only mail ISP that we're having issues with right now is Yahoo. We're not on their blacklist because our emails to you guys are being successfully delivered all they way to the Yahoo mail servers in 90% of cases. Occasionally (say 10% of the time) the Yahoo mail server will reply back that the mail server is too busy to accept the message. Normally, those messages are delivered on the first retry a few hours later.
But what happens to the messages forward of Yahoo's mail server we don't have any way to know. I would expect that they are flagging them as spam and deleting them before they show up in people's mailboxes. I've contacted Yahoo three times about this so far this season trying to get an answer but I've gotten form letters in response, usually about a week later. I've also filled out their bulk mailer form, added SPF records to our DNS servers, and done everything else I have been requested to do.
Here's what I would advise Yahoo folks who are not receiving the Daily Updates to do:
1.) Check your Bulk Mail folder for our Updates. If you do find some issues in there, you can train the spam filter to not block our messages in the future by marking them as "Not Spam". I expect that this problem originates from people who just click the "Spam" button next to our Updates rather than just unsubscribing from the list. Having some folks marking the mails as "Not Spam" should balance this out.
2.) Make sure that Yahoo SpamGuard is set to send suspected spam to the Bulk Email folder rather than delete it entirely. That way you can at least find the missing updates in the bulk mail folder. Here's how to find your Bulk Mail folder and change your SpamGuard settings:

3.) If you can't find our updates in the Bulk Mail folder, Footballguys might be on your Blocked List. If there are any addresses that end with @
footballguys.com or @
broadcast.footballguys.com on your Blocked List, that would cause the updates to be deleted entirely from your Yahoo account without any sort of notification. If you remove our addresses from your Blocked List, you should begin to receive the updates again. Here's how to access your Blocked List:

4.) Add Joe Bryant (

5.) Set up a couple of mail filters to tell Yahoo mail to deliver any messages from Footballguys to your inbox folder. Here are the instructions on how to set that up -- instead of entering "@
about.com" as the example shows, though, enter one filter for "@
footballguys.com" and a second one for "@
broadcast.footballguys.com":

In the meantime, if any of you guys can find a contact address or form for Yahoo mail help, please let me know. I would like to post the link or the contact info here so you guys can call or email and give their support a piece of your mind. That will be the most effective way to get them to change their policies since you guys are their customers and they have to listen to you. I've been searching for a link or email address for about half an hour now and it appears that they just don't want it to be found. They do, however, have a link prominently displayed where you can pay them to give you prioritized end-user support.
