FBG Site Question - T-shirt Idea (1 Viewer)

1. No visors. (Good thing Pick hasn't seen your post yet).2. If the MTV show is actually called "Punk'd" are there legal issues involved in putting that on the fake website? I am sure people will get the gist of it if it just says "Punked".3. NO white shirts...EVERYONE makes white shirts and I am tired of them. A blue shirt or even black would be cool.
 
i'm rather new here, pretty cool concept i might add. I don't however like the "you got punk'd" cuz as many have said, it reminds me of the mtv show with ASShton Kutcher. Just throwing an idea out there, maybe something along the lines of "Sharks are leaders not followers which is why you're not #1." "Did you really think we'd give you our secret weapon?" (i say we in case there are any females interested) "Better luck next year rookie." "Your friends at www.blackeyedjoe.com" like i said i know i'm a rookie here, but i thought i would just give my two cents as well. also, as i was skimming, i couldn't find teh prices, are they listed on the site somewhere? overall, excellent idea, i love the arrogance in it! :cool: :thumbup: :boxing:

 
I have a guy in my league that hooks up his computer to the net at the draft....doesn't help him, but he looks good....I would get to see him croak on the spot!! :excited:

 
How long would it take to ship out these shirts? Most drafts are 2 weeks away. I love the idea, maybe you can have the "you are an idiot..ha ha...ha ha ha" song playing in the back ground....LMAO :boxing:

Good idea except the BlackeyedJoe logo looks just like the footballguys logo.

So... the guys see that.. then google "fantasy football info" and FBG is the #2 title to turn up (with the same logo). I imagine anyone can put 2 and 2 together.

Not that it's the end of the world... and maybe I'm giving people too much credit... but if you're really wiping the floor with your league well enough to warrant taunting them with a shirt, I'd imagine they might wonder where you're getting your info.

I know that one guy in my Office league already found FBG because he remembered seeing the blackeyed joe logo on one of my printouts (I usually cut it out or black it out). He looked around till he found the site with that icon and has since signed up.

It's funny that it seems like you aren't advertising for FBG's, but yet when you type in "blackeyedjoe" into google, the second hit is footballguys. :confused:

Ah well, I can see how this would be a good marketing tool for the FBG brass, but for those who truly want to keep this a secret from anyone with even a modicum of internet savvy, it's foolishness to give them something like that to go on.
