Mike Zangrilli (Unlucky) has been named the Captain of the Message Boards team.I am going to start a new thread that announces this (on page 1 of a new thread) and also details out the specific rules we will play under. Mike is going to create his own thread for all of you to tell him why you should be on the team. He has promised to be fair about the selection process and wants a good mix of people to compete. Read his rules for posting in his thread carefully though - He is going to allow everyone just one post so he can efficiently select a team.The draft is tentaively looking like it will be Saturday, June 5th in the afternoon.Best of luck to everyone.

there has to easily be 100 threads or so in the FFA for every single thread there is in the Shark Pool.With the FFA you get a huge increase in quantity of posts with not much of an increase in quality.This here is basically a FFA thread in disguise anyway.

there has to easily be 100 threads or so in the FFA for every single thread there is in the Shark Pool.With the FFA you get a huge increase in quantity of posts with not much of an increase in quality.This here is basically a FFA thread in disguise anyway.

You just have to know how to find the quality. Two easy steps are:1. Automatically delete any thread that Zartan starts2. Automatically delete any thread that JAA starts

Nope...I'm a Jersey boy, Devils fan. Aside from my loyalty to the Eagles, I have no allegiance to other Philly teams. I'm a Suns fan and sympathetic to the Nets because I see them play a handful of times a year; hate the Sixers. I'm a Devils fan, hate the Flyers. And for baseball, I continue to root for the Windy City's ******* stepchild of a team, the White Sox.

When it comes to sports teams, you're really freaking weird.That said, bet you'll be glad to know Ronde Barber was at the game tonight, hyping up the crowd.No word on whether he ran across the ice holding a football over his head, screaming "we're going to San Diego". :rotflmao:

I want in. My resume includes winning the Spring Survivor League II last year and I am on a dynasty league formed in 2001 from The Shark Pool. If you take a look at my roster, I think you will see I am set with depth and youth. My team is Gila Monsters. LINK Altough I finished five hundred in that particular league, I was second in overall scoring.

I think the captain should pick on performance not post-count.

Chase ducked out on a league several years ago when he was a V.I.P. as jets94. He talked how he would "run us dry" and then wimped out saying it wouldn't be a fair league even after one of the staff of FBG agreed to moderate it. I have been waiting for three years to call him out on that arrogant statement. Please, give me my revenge.
