FF magazine recommendations (1 Viewer)

Yeah I know they are out of date the day after their published but I am going to the beach for a few days and need some light reading material. So I am wondering what everyone's favorite FF mag is (one that I can pick up at a newsstand).

Also does anyone have any idea on the release dates so I can avoid ones printed before the 2005 draft?

I'll vote for Fantasy Football Index here.

Further to the rankings, have some interesting angles on stats. (QB stats are on the rise, but not all QBs, mostly the elite are bringing the total up., etc.)

agree about FFI, although their mag (like most others) has been on the newstands already for 6-8 weeks.

I'll third Fantasy Football Index. Despite the out-of-date material, some good info in there that may still be relevant.

I always found Fanball to be the most entertaining of the fantasy football mags to read, although the actual football strategies and opinions they put out there was a different story.

FFI was always one of my favs. I have not gotten it in the last couple years but I used to enjoy reading Pro Football Weekly's mag as well.

I know it's not what you had in mind, but the Training Camp Updates here are about 40 pages and very current. Great (subscriber) content IMO.

Was just at the store and thumbed thru the Fantasy Football Index. Not what it used to be...

Guess this could be said about all fantasy magazines these days and no doubt it's better to glean your information off the web. But if like the OP I just wanted some reading material for the beach or something, the Pro Football Weekly mag looks like the best bet to me.

I usually buy Sports Illustrated and FFI each summer to take on vacation.

I always liked the format of Sporting News. FFI has been good too
