I was performing my arrangement of "I Touch Myself" on the piano and singing it (no shtick). She loved it.

i could give you a long answer here bud, but the short of it was that it was the right call. Maybe with the Pens you guys have it this year, but I just didn't think the Flyers could win yesterday. Makes the loss a little easier to swallow. I probably would have been happier if the Flyers had won, but it just seemed like they didn't have much of a chance. Still a huge fan, and it wasn't like i was rooting against them

It's pretty good schtick actually to play out at open mic nights and play songs that most wouldn't associate with piano. Makes people pay attention and listen as opposed to just playing some crappy Adele songs.I write the arrangements out on my note pad to take songs that aren't really meant for piano and come up with my own take on the vocals and piano arrangments.Right now in my repertoire, I do:"I Touch Myself""Rush Rush" by Paula AbdulThe Perfect Strangers theme song (not a joke). The chords are C / F / C over E / F / G if you want to go try it out on an instrument and test me"When I Come Around" by Green Day"Your Love" by OutfieldThat's about it right now for my rotation. Maybe I'll get drunk this weekend and upload one for you guys actually.

where did you play at? My cousin forced me to go to this bar in center city that had pianos, dueling pianos i guess. Maybe it was Jollies? in full discretion, it was the absolute opposite of any bar i would go to, but if you were there playing at some point i would make it down there
