FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

Ugh, looking like a rough 2 days here. great job of LA to knock the goal out of place and get the go ahead goal while the Blues wer looking around waiting for the play to stop. LA is outplaying them though, you were right with this one DD

and now the refs miss a horrible high-sticking. Ahhh yes, love gambling

Lakers are 0-14 on back to backs this year yet they are two point favorites in Milwaukee. What say ye?
Now 0-15This is an autoplay for me the rest of the year.
A quick look at their schedule looks like they have won several back to backs?
maybe they won but didn't cover? I assume he was talking against the spread.
:bag:Although I think that could still be a typo. Noticed at least one back to back with a 25 point victory.Looks like just one more back to back this year to try to take advantage.

I forgot a detail. I heard this on the radio today (Cowherd show but not Cowherd) and now looking through the schedule, you're right. I don't think they said anything about it being a home or away game either. Something to do with winning or near winning teams maybe???

Yeah that's not what they said on the radio. I don't follow the NBA and it seemed odd to me, but given the Lakers season it seemed plausible I guess. So basically if the Lakers have a back to back and they win the first one, fade in the second game.

I have done well with the current Bellator season, all except for one guy. So i figure might as well go for a clean sweep from this jerk (i.e. Rickels):Awad +160Zayats -110 I feel bad grabbing Zayats since Newton's win over King Mo was a great win for all of us. But i think Zayats has what it takes to win that one, as long as he doesn't walk around with his hands at his side like King Mo did
:X very possibly one of the dumbest stoppages i have ever seen in MMA. The guy was resting after the end of the round, and the dopey ref calls the fight. Have to hope for .500 here, what a load of crap this was

And I will be throwing piles of money at Wichita State on Saturday, and some on Marquette. Please, please, please, please give the Shockers six or more. PLEASE!!!!!

Wichita State -4, buying .5 -120
Why would you buy a point in college basketball?
I can see buying the hook on a whole number if you're really feeling your side. Any more is kinda ridiculous since it's continuous scoring in basketball. It's worth it for the NFL, since longer possession times/lower volume of overall scoring opportunities presents a ton of value on a key number.

I used to buy hooks in CFB and then figured if I was buying a hook, I was probably on the wrong side. I think NFL is the only place for it.

Stuckey ‏@Stuckey2 23mFolks, here come my Sharks. Stanley Cup Champs. Same people who will respond with an lol said same with Kings last year #Guppies
@Dr_Detroit19 3m@Stuckey2 It's like you've missed the last ten years. They might win in the first round, I'd start buying that future back if I were you.
Stuckey ‏@Stuckey2 4m@Dr_Detroit19 zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I have four more picks to glory in Spurtsbook's 20K NBA Survivor contest, 100 left or so. I've charted everything since it started, even holding two teams back for the last week when you need two teams to win outright during the last weekend (Utah and Atlanta, both have one winnable game at home).

And now Aldridge goes and sprains his ankle. :wall: :wall:

Brooklyn scored on them at will even with la in the lineup. Who's your choice for Portland to play?

Split on Hockey with DD last night ( minus the vig) and ended up on the + side in hoops....

Today so far on

Michigan +2

MSU +2

FGCU +13

Not sure what to so with UL or the totals DD posted. At least I have all day at work to figure it out...........

No logical reason for it on my end, really. Although I've poured in a TON of fill dirt over the last few weeks, I'm still digging my way out of a hole. I put a lot on the line with Ohio State, and got lucky pushing -3 for game and then hitting the 2H -5 play. Really found myself sweating there at the end. Didn't place the Wichita State bet until I'd won the Ohio State $, so I was fresh off that sweat. Recently, it feels like I've lost more than my fair share of plays by .5 (think it's been like 3 in the past week or so), and I saw that -4.5, I was like 'that's not biting ME in the ### tonight', and I just bought down to -4 to make myself less stressed out. That's it.ETA Kansas -2

Home against the Jazz, the next night on a B2B in Oakland.I've used 20-some teams at this point, there aren't really any other options.

Quantifying the dome-effect on three-point shooting

by Ken Pomeroy on Friday, March 29, 2013

With action moving to Cowboys Stadium tonight, there’s liable to be some discussion about how such a large venue affects the participants’ shooting. Or at least there should be, considering both Florida and Michigan are likely to be more dependent than normal on three-point shooting. Brian Cook at MGoBlog recently summarized what little research there is on the subject. A few weeks ago, John Ezekowitz put some stuff together attempting to quantify the effect of Princeton’s voluminous Jadwin Gym on shooting percentages. This is one of the better datasets pertaining to the issue since we can compare what Princeton’s opponents do between home and road games.

Got a gigantic raise today for working my ### off in 2012

There is a horse about to run from my notes. Only play today.

Santa Anita. Race 2. Gimlet With a Twist (6).. Longest shot on the board at 12 - 1. Had an awful trip first-out where it was obvious she wasn't close to ready. Has a couple works since and gets blinkers and meds today. And an extra furlong, which should really help, she was coming on late in the debut.

Play her across the board.

Box her (6) with the 4 for a little...it would pay a ton.

My credit card info from two different cards (same provider though) have been stolen in the last month. Somebody tried to charge $800 worth or granite and $79 worth of escort services this time. I wonder if they took the escort to try out the counter top?

No bueno, sorry if ya tailed. The two Baffert favorites ran 1 - 2, what's new...

Baffert's Flashback runs once more (before Kentucky, hopefully) next Saturday, Rud. HUGE race.

Good luck with the hoops tonight all, hasta luego. :bye:

Man, i love DVR. Never would have seen that guy from Kansas literally punch that tall white kid in the balls without it. and i love how the commentators say they didn't see anything :lmao:

ETA: and the bad thing about DVR.... forgetting to catch back up to the live feed to watch the game in real time while you are betting through live betting :bag:
