They have more pitching depth so I don't think that will cause a collapse. I just don't think they have enough offense and their division is tough. If they can get a bat in RF it would go a long way. But in all honesty, I'm way too snake-bitten to be objective.

I watch almost zero women's tennis. I can't ####### stand it. Only stuff I see is when ESPN insists on ramming it down our throats.

I can't break it down the way I do the men's game. I also think best of 3 sets is much tougher to break down than best of 5. Cream usually rises to the top with 5 sets in play. The women service game is much slower and weaker and much easier to break which is hard to look at as well. About 60% of what goes into the men's tennis capping is the strength of the service vs. return game of each player (among other things: surface, previous match length in the tournament, etc)

That said. Serena is dominating this year. What price can you get?

 
Anyone have a lean they like on any of these late games? I'm thinking Reds +140 is pretty good value, even without Phillips. Giants/Dodgers over maybe?

 
Aaand of course, Harrell gets ####### pounded. 7 ER, 4BB in 3+. And it could have been worse, as he had 5 Ks looking. Cool.

Considering the bank wins a measly 1% of the time more than the "player", I'm having a hard time rationalizing why anyone would ever pay the 5% commission required to bet on "the bank". Wouldn't it be more prudent to bet on the player every time and skip the commission?

I would still really, really like to discuss this if anyone has baccarat experience.

Since that post last night, I have since learned from Wizard of Odds and others that backing the banker (despite the 5% commission) is the smart way to play, especially if you are playing a progression system, because the banker has the "last draw" - similar to 21 - but this is based on the player's cards.

Would like to hear anyone's personal experiences with the game. I don't want to go into the roped-off baccarat room where all the snooty people are. I'll be playing mini-baccarat, which has the same rules but encourages t-shirts, sandals and drunk people who haven't showered recently. Right up my alley.

 
i think i will try the Giants again tonight. They are just a better team then the Dodgers, should be able to score some runs a little better tonight

The Giants are an offensive fuster cluck right now. They always seem to struggle in LA as well. I honestly have no read on tonight's game even as a :homer:

I will never judge on getting a fast food fix in. I'd say I try a different chain about once a month or so and just get after it big. Makes me feel awful afterwards, but tastes so good while you're eating it.

Anybody watching MLB.tv on their pc/laptop? Whenever they show this particular commercial with some assjack making a campfire or something, it crashes everything unless I change the feed really quickly.

almost worth the money Boston took from me. I love when the cameras catch shots like that

and on a side note, i would love to look over the last month of betting for me and see how much money the Boston area has taken from me.
