Any bangers tonight you want to share GooRoo?
No bangers. Manning u 2.5 td passes -110 was the only play. Now that Welker moved to 6.5, that should be on the radar screen.

Interesting stat: Over the last 2 full seasons (38 games), only 1 quarterback has thrown more than 2 TD's against the Baltimore Ravens. So o/u 2.5 td's is 37-1. The bad news is the 1 that went o 2.5 was Peyton Manning. Betting that he can't go o 2.5 two games in a row.
worth a free $250 bet? :excited:
Nah, I can come up with something much stronger on Saturday for you. Give me a shout Saturday morning.
:hifive:

Total in the NE Buf game looks off? 51

The last 7 games going back three years are all over 65. Over-reaction to rookie QB?

Do you downgrade Buf offense, which was already crap, two TDs due to QB change? Buf D should be better coached but likely missing their two best players in the secondary.

At minimum I love this total teased lower.
Pats are without Gronk and Welker too. If the Bills run their hurry up offense all game though, I could see it getting up there for sure. Patriots will torch that secondary without Gilmore and Byrd.

I'm just worried about the Bills scoring. Pats defense should be strong.
If the Bills run their hurry up offense, the game (not the total) will be over by halftime. They have to keep the ball away from Brady to keep it close. The Bills cannot get in a shootout. They have to establish the run. I don't think we see the hurry up. I'm leaning under but probably won't touch it.
I don't know if they plan to huddle much all year. Would be against the grain if they come out really trying to slow things down based on everything they've done and shown under Marrone and Hackett thus far.

Good for the NFL to have the kickoff festivities in Baltimore tonight. The fans should stop by and burn down Camden Yard on the way home.

If that's the case, the Pats win by 20+.

Everyone alive is on the over tonight. What could go wrong???
Right? I hate when there is a consensus. :wary:
Buddy of mine used to run a book. Said he'd book his plays for national games basically 10 minutes before kick-off, and take the opposite side of whatever the public was on if it was a landslide, no matter what. Said it was generally pretty profitable.

Here's to hoping for 49 points...

Good thing Keith Urban and the $*($#*)@ Orioles didn't have to deal with a nationally televised rain delay.

America commends you for holding true to the rights to your parking lot!!!

I think the delay favors the road team in Denver tonight. It just feels alot of steam was lost for the home team. Then again i quit gambling years ago because i couldn't pick winners.

Yay 1H o24! Awww ####, sorry Mo. I think you made the right play...turnovers got to you.

Man....FAU is worse than I expected. That one looks like it's gonna be a double dinger loss for the good guy.

:scared:

ETA WOO AT THE 20.5 cover on a 4th down TD pass!

no worries, i have gotten my ### handed to me the last 2 days, might as well continue to the downturn for a little. i like the numbers i got on the actual game when i put Baltimore in teasers when they were closer to +10 to make it +16, and i grabbed Denver at -1.5 with the teasers too. So it can balance out as long as these teams don't get crazy and out of hand

Anyone know why the A&M game is off the board at SB (and others according to Vegas Insider) - http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/odds/las-vegas/
It's not otb it's an extra game...not sure sb ever put those lines up...they usually don't go up til game day. You can currently bet on it at bookmaker
Thanks. Saw some interesting rationale on twitter from Stuckey that seems like something I can buy into:

SHSU beat Houston Baptist 74-0 last week and didn't even reach 100 yards passing lol

They run a triple option. You really think A&M spent this week preparing for that instead of Bama? Very distracted team to boot.

Was already down on the A&M defense as they lost 6 starters. Should be vanilla on offense. SHSU is a top 5 FCS team and has an explosive O

My FCS special this week is SHSU +44. A&M w/Bama on deck. Three defensive starters still suspenddd. Two more for 1st half after Rice game

Damn, i really liked Baltimore when they were getting double digits as a dog. i am scared to look at my pending bets to see how many times i bet on them or put them into teasers at over 14 points.

Stop me if you've heard this before. Today I was at the thrift shop shopping in little Haiti...rocking flip flops as per usual. A little tyke was chasing after a ball down the aisle and they were both heading toward me and beyond me the busy traffic consisting of women frantically searching for that killer deal going 20 mph pushing those metal jousting rocketship shopping carts. Being the good samaritan that I am, I knew something had to be done to save the child from this frogger-esque scenario unfolding in front of me. I stuck out my foot to try and assist...however a little too far - in doing so the planted flop started to shift under me. I attempted to correct my balance by bringing the front foot down but by then it was too late. I was living one of those unique moments in life when you really feel alive....one of those times where you wonder whats happening and how you got there. Horizontal approximately 2 feet off the ground, feet completely out from under me...and as Shake Z can attest to, i'm no little nugger....speeding toward the concrete floor head and back first, headphones on rocking Cake on a throwback thursday. I crash. 1st thing I recall is that damn kid looking at me, the realization of what happened in his eye and his 6 year old lil latino ### breaking out in vicious laughter...all I could do was chuckle. That and pick up my hat, sunglasses, wallet and coins that had been tossed out of my pockets during my landing.

Oof, not the way i envisioned starting the NFL season off. Have Peyton on my fantasy team, but unfortunately he cost me 4 times my entry fee already so he better keep this up all season to make it up.

ETA: it's funny, but week 1 is always a tough one at times. It is because these sportsbooks have the week 1 lines up for like a month, and i must hit those lines a few times a week. Unfortunately i liked this one quite a bit, so it is a nice kick in the stomach to start the season

How did I miss this??? MOP broke down the game in advance.

Baltimore: Rice is a must start but outside of that you might have a lot of options or should. Many owners who have Torrey Smith acquired him as either a WR2 or 3 so I imagine you want to play him tonight. He looked pretty good last year in Denver. Almost certainly you have better options than Joe Flacco so you likely are not thinking about him tonight although 250/2TD would not surprise me at all. Outside of that this is going to be a wait and see for most owners at any of the other positions.

Denver: I am actually thinking of sitting Manning in favor of Tony Romo this week if that offers some perspective. I think Denver might come out of the gate a little slow much like last year before they hit their stride for the run in the middle to later part of the year. I want to see it all work for a week and there are so many juicy match ups in the coming weeks ahead. Still I could understand why many owners would start him but in most leagues I saw him go around round 5ish so it's not unlikely an owner didn't grab perhaps Luck or someone else 4-5 rounds later. Beyond that the RB position is a real leap of faith. Can't recommend any of them from my POV. Thomas has to be a must start, I would also start Decker but Welker might disappoint tonight. We'll see how this shakes out. I also would skip the Denver TE spot for now until we see how much the rewards will be.

Final Score: Baltimore 24...Denver 21, opening night upset (Super Bowl Champs?) and defenses are usually ahead of the offenses week 1 so don't get unnerved tonight if your guy doesn't light the world up.

#### teasers

Thought I might have a prayer of hitting the +18 when numb nuts botched the pick 6 celebration, but I guess Goober decided he needed that 7th TD

I agree with him, problem is the number has been bet down to 38.5, it opened at 46

I know it was just 1 game, but after the first game anyone else think the nfl totals jump 10 puts or so after this week?

Can azarenka lose? Looking at the brewers in day bases, 8.5 seems like a lot of runs too. Anyone got the smarts for your boy?

Frigging so sore today like I was in a car wreck.
