FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (10 Viewers)

NCAA game tomorrow; I found some stats. The 1st page is a side-by-side comparison of how Cincy and Temple differ the most. Cincy's significant stats all seem to be toward the top of the national rankings, while Temple's significant stats seem to be in the bottom of the national rankings, which is what the second page is showing you. I wanted to make a case for the over, and Temple will probably allow some points, but I'm not sure they can hold up their end of the bargain offensively. link
Maybe something can be said for Temple's red-zone defense. Teams have scored on 21-of-26 trips inside the Temple 20, but only eight of those scores have been touchdowns. Cincinnati is ranked very high on defense. But aside from Illinois, their opponents have ranked in the 117-122 range offensively this season. That is also where Temple ranks, however. One unknown is that Temple's rookie QB is getting his first start. He threw a late TD versus Louisville, but it was in a blowout against their second-string defense. Temple is 4-1 to the under this year, with the lone over hitting in their game versus the only FCS team they played, Fordham, who beat them 30-29.
All this #### I wrote is still true and I was really trying to figure out why I didn't take u51.5 when I had the chance. Is today just game day money coming on the "fun" Friday night over bet? I think this is all I can do on this. I wish I knew more.
I think the u53 is the play if at all. You made your case. Stop trying to over think it.

Cinci has stopped themselves the last couple weeks. They can change that tonight and forget about the tragedy they went through and the turnovers they comitted. The red jerseys don't hurt anything and home crowd doesn't hurt, either. Shopped the line, and it looks like I'm getting a point and/or ten cents with this total, depending on where you shop.

:party bus: 3-1 $195

Cincinnati U o36 110/100

I was waiting on Eminence (@FB_ELITE) to post something on his twitter feed for tonight's game, but to no avail, so I just had to go with what I thought was right.

Really wanted to back Temple but then realized they are not good. And my buddy RN told me not to ask bad teams to do good things.

Watching the pre-game. Pitt has only allowed 3 goals all season and the Panthers have one goal in four games.

:oldunsure:
First NHL start for Zatkoff and first home game for Florida. Despite those trends, Florida games have hit 6 or more in 3 of 4 so Pitt could score 6 themselves.

Didn't Florida put up 4 on Dallas in the opener?

If you just absolutely love gambling and offense, these 3 games are on at virtually the same time tomorrow:

LSU/Florida o49

Baylor/KSU o75

Oregon/Was o77

They've played 16 games total. Over has hit in 15 of them. Could make for a fun parlay.

man, some great games tomorrow
I can't wait....the Noles are off tomorrow so there's no stress level for me, so i'll be fading the Gators. Might as well put my money where my heart is and side with LSU. UF's defense is strong but 28 points isn't a urineload. Hmmmm

Over Cincy 37.5

Over 3.5 Dodgers

considering:

Dodgers/Dodgers -1.5

Freakin beautiful.... I sit down with a pizza and a ton of ice cold beer, and the goals are coming fast and furious in FLA!

:excited:

Blackhawks just broke through also. That game is on NHLN.

:hifive:

TF, what is the thinking behind the Baylor total being "only" 75?

Does K St play decent defense, or is Baylor maybe expected not to be as effective scoring on the road?

P.S. Chad Millman interviewed some guy who sets lines at one Vegas casino, and the guy said that a Baylor/Oregon bowl game would open at 84. When he asked the question, I thought to myself "85"... not bad.

It's because you're giving her the tap root. In America we just call it tapping. As in, "Look, there goes Jennifer. I am going to tap that ###."
