FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

Loudest stadium I've ever been in, btw. HTH.
hmm..didnt' see anything about that on TV
JuniorNB blaming the noise for all Seattle's touchdowns was the highlight in the Shark Pool last night.
I just heard a Saints fan on the radio complaining about the same thing. Don't like it, win enough games where you end up with home field, and/or move to a louder stadium yourself.

Still hasn't paid up for the ncaa $1 game to my knowledge. This was 2009!!
Well then, your knowledge isn't so good, now is it? And I am 100% sure of this. But hey, mighty big of you to dig up an alias to go out and make false allegations. And it's 4 years you've been holding onto this?? :lmao:
Linus Scrimmage IMO
yeah, that seemed really strange to come attack SLBD like that out of the blue. he's in that pool every year and always pays what he owes.

must've been a mistaken identity.

I bought Cincinnati U +3½ 105/100 and added to the partybus for Thursday. Just taking the best price on the market and three is a good number to have.
I figure both teams can score 3 TDs - average total points scored in their two games last year was 72 points. SNF action to boot. Nugs let me twist your arm here brohan.

Carolina vs. New Orleans o45 120/100
I'm betting you will be able to get this for less in live betting. Panthers dont give up early points often.

Over Salami for 1/2 unit because I dont have much for hockey props tonight and I dont see many D first teams playing tonight.

Just stop it. You know I don't bet overs.

in for 1/5 of a unit per unit
WTF why did I only do 1/5 of a unit. Nice work

I know this the wrong place to put this, but I am more comfortable with you ####s than anywhere else.

My son just verbally committed to play baseball at TCU, with a very generous scholarship offer. He's a sophomore, right handed pitcher, throws low 90's. Am I stupid?

just got home but taking Michigan +2.5 2H because I got some more points from the original line and Beilein is 58.6% ATS as a dog (did the research earlier today) also just had a shot of tequila (wut up trey)

oh and the half point is a better line than what 5D was offering

Not at all. That sounds awesome. What other pitches does he throw?

After school last night a man in my class asked me to help him and his family start an Asian grocery store. Nobody will give him the time of day whenever he calls the leasing office because he only speaks broken English.
I'm going to a meeting downtown with this dude in a hour. I better get a good samaritan award for this ####.
Seems like at a minimum he owes you a night with one of his Asian daughters
Yeah but then I would just be horny again an hour later. :kicksrock:
One of the funnier things i've read recently. Thanks for that :moneybag:
just found out I'm getting 1.5% :asianpickle:

Been looking forward to this actually.

Trey, how did your kid do at that event you guys went to.. Did he get a scholarship yet?

Low 80's change up and a wicked 2/8 slurve that starts behind a rhb and finishes over the plate

Congrats on the news. Honestly, I don't think I would post that in this thread. The internet is a cruel world and I wouldn't want to jeopardize something great for my kid(s). :2cents:

These are quite a bit stronger than your nfl props, you should bet multiple units. Sportsbook hasn't offered them since we were cashing at about an 80% clip a couple years ago. at the Rice line.

always funny when you get in this thread and start reading the stuff from the early pages. Would be real fun to find the other wagering thread that was before this one. Some good times recorded in these threads, love when we get in a good run and everybody is on the same plays.

Mother f'n US Gov needs to legalize gambling and bring those days back again

Rationally, of course it would be great if this hobby were legalized.

But, I have to say, there's something about it that has a certain "je ne sais quoi" in the current state. Kind of like the smile I'd have on my face after walking out a beer distributor in HS with a case of beer in each hand. :gang1:

Kids getting a full boat to a major school to play baseball. I'd say a big congratulations is in order.

Why would you be stupid? And congrats, btw. That's awesome.

Is there any chance he might get drafted? I'd try to learn as much about the pros and cons of minors vs. college if that's a possibility down the line.

For all the dads, when I was fifteen my old man introduced me to an eighteen year old waitress chick he met who was waitressing in our town but actually lived in the neighboring town. She worked at our local BBQ joint and he invited her over to "play the piano" at our house sometime. We had a piano and whenever she came over to play it she ended up on the back porch with me, all alone on the porch swing. When the night was winding down and I was still a virgin she walked around to the front of our house to her car after saying that she couldn't wait to get me in bed. Before I knew it she had me out on a backroad in Hamilton County screwing in the back seat while Silverchair played on the cd player of my dads GMC pickup truck. After we hooked up my old man conveniently went on vacation to Canada for a week and I had her all to myself in our house for seven days. Among 1,000 other things I'll always admire him for that. The only downside is that I get worked up everytime I smell stale BBQ on a waitress.

How does this work if he's only a sophomore? Can he sign the offer and get the scholarship now and lock it in?

Either way congrats

Baseball has some screwy rules with scholarships...only 13.2 allowed per team or something...so they give alot of partials to split it up. I know TCU ain't cheap.....is he exposing you to any risk by committing early?

It's a verbal commitment. Handshake deal. He cannot sign until November of his senior year. My God, that seems like an eternity away.
