Saints and over. If they've won last week, I might think better of this, but they are a different team at home. I see this as close early, but a Saints blowout. Fade accordingly.

The early line before last week's games was Saints -4.5

 
The Pats scoring the TD with 1:01 in the 4Q was a 1275 positive swing for me. And then the W was another 510 swing to the good. I was actually praying to the gambling gods at one point. All five of them I prayed to today. All five gods.

 
so Week 14 is the FF playoffs (for 99% of us at least) and i made a huge mistake. normally, i'd hang at the house with RedZone, plus the local FOX/CBS feed, and drink a bunch of beer during 10 hours of football. today, for whatever reason, i accepted an invitation to a friends house to kill a couple of kegs left over from a party he went to last night. perfect, right?

wrong. kegs had been bouncing around the bed of his truck all morning while he hauled them back from the venue. foam-foam-foam. it's been a while since college, but foam <> beer. strike one. strike two: only the local FOX feed of SEA/SF was on. no flipping channels, no RedZone, no DirectTV for alternate games. as a Niner fan i'm happy with the result, but killing me with zero access to any other game. also, zero WiFi as we were in the sticks, so no 2H betting available.

the result as i got home: NO -3 and bought the hook for some -140. also on the Over 47.5.

let's go Saints.

:thumbup: the acct. needs a good bump. I'll try and find some time to look into it early this week. Been awhile since i have been able to do that, hopefully it is a good thing and not a bad thing

 
They scored a total of 20 points in the 1Q the last two times these two teams faced each other. Followed by 124 points scored among the other 6 quarters.. just sayin'

I avoided homer Bills bets all year....but caved and it cost me a 6 team parlay this week :wall: They have been all over the place this year, but take out beating Geno and they faded badly after a decent start. Jax has extra rest and EJ sucks thus far on the road, 5.22 ypa. I like the Jags.

If anything, I have learned a lot about the recruiting practice, and let me tell you that football is dirty. Not that I didn't have suspicion, but I know now.

 
I took Graham ov78 yards. Have no idea why. I knew the panthers were hard pressed to find one guy to cover him, and i figured he would be covered tightly, but 3 guys on him is going to make that a hard cover

 
Chris Collinsworth is very couth - he never says stuff that he doesn't think about first. He thinks #### through before he says it.

 
My buddy has a kid that has a scholarship as an O Lineman at Marshall in the fall, state champ weight lifter. The kid was in a pasture yesterday, dove into a cow pond that unbeknownst to him was only 8 inches deep. Still paralyzed from the waist down after surgery.

Life is a mother ####er sometimes.

 
My old man always told me never to do that - it was about cliff diving when you don't know how deep it is, but same thing pretty much. He always had good basic survival #### to teach about.

This kinda stuff makes it easy to be idiot like I am, 'saw. You just never know when it's your time and it's both absurd and useless to think otherwise. I've done worse things TODAY and am walking away unscathed. Someone could run a red light tomorrow on your way to that 3 some...just gotta enjoy life, right?

My old man was an engineer and worked for the highway dept. We used to jump off bridges all the time. My dad told us what was under the water that we jumped into. Amazing that we were never impaled.

This is why I picked up the Titans for Week 16 with the Panthers getting the pleasure of hosting the Saints, since the Titans draw Jax. Jax is playing better and all, but still, I am NOT trotting the Panthers out there vs. Brees with a potential Championship on the line.

This is true, but I still don't have the stones to roll Panthers at that point. I don't want to rely on his home/road splits holding for a one-week matchup when in real life, they'll be fighting as well for the division and playoff positioning.

Appreciated bud...I was just passing along some kind of message (enjoy the day, tell your family you love them, don't go into the pasture, etc), I have not suffered any loss here other than knowing the pain of those folks.

 
Can you handle a quick fantasy story during this boring game? It's pretty amazing.

I am headed for a semifinal showdown in my local league with a guy who has a monster team. If I may be immodest for a moment, so do I. We have each had high points for the week four times in a 12-team league, and we are 1 & 2 in points scored on the season.

Long story short, he has Gronk. Done for the season.

He also has Peterson. Taken off on a cart. MRI tomorrow. Very unlikely to play Sunday.

He also has Welker. Left with a concussion. Second one in two months, and they have a Thursday game. Dr. Jene thinks he will be doubtful "at best" next week.


Is that insane luck or what? This type of stuff usually happens to me... not for me.
