FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (8 Viewers)

I've said it a few times elsewhere but I honestly think the only NFC team that can win in Seattle is the 49ers.
I would have been on this train had I not seen Arizona walk in there and win in week 16 in a game Seattle needed. I still think the Seahawks are going to the SB, but I don't feel as good about it as I did a month ago.

What motivation did they have in that game? How good are the Cardinals?

Ask yourself those questions and you'll be fine thinking they'll get through. Cam is gonna walk in there and be overwhelmed, Saints are banged up and Seattle isn't Philadelphia. Rodgers and Niners have a shot, but Green Bay is so ####### bad on defense that one seems like a stretch.

To the first question, it would have locked up HFA, giving Pete the opportunity to rest some of the older vets in W17.

Cam might be overwhelmed, but that nasty-ass D travels well. 15 PPG. I don't give GB or NO much of a shot.

You are 12-2 and have to win just one of the last two for HFA, I don't see the edge needed there. All these playoff scenario things mean something to fans, not to players. HFA is important, but you aren't playing for it until your back is against the wall for these guys. Winning a division is motivation, but geting the 3rd seed vice the 4th or the 5th instead of the 6th, means nothing. To me that Arizona game was just the right spot for Arizona who had everything to lose. Also that game may have been a good thing, now they won't half-### a game they know they should win (like next week).

As a cynical, drunk, Gopher fan I think Purdue +8 is a great bet. As an analytical, bias-free (kind of) gambler, I'll tell you tomorrow.

Does Robbie Hummel still play for them? He should be a 9th-year senior by now.
On the Wolves, actually. I'm sure he'll be there if the Wolves are in town.
Is it my imagination or was he one of those guys who seemed like he was in college for 20 years?

He was. Purdue seems to have them a lot. Brian Cardinal was in school for like 9 years and Brad Miller at least 7.

Got raped on the early game yesterday...kept betting under live figuring the scoring wouldn't continue...ouch. made up for some of it on the late game with a live over and pre game u54 for a middle. Bengals and over in the late game also a bunch of teasers with the Bengals and packers

I like SF a lot today. Feel like they and Seattle are head and shoulders above everyone else. And they have a punishing, physical style that travels well in any conditions, but particularly in the cold. Lacy looks gimpy to me, and Rodgers is still not entirely himself.

10 am football are you effing serious! I'm cruising Los Angeles in an orange dodge RT headed to Venice Beach. The hills look like Everest to a south Florida boy.

Cincy -7 and over

San Fran -3 and under

Straight, teased, robined

Good luck fellas

Can get Cobb over 4.5 at high juice on Bovada

Gl today

I got f'd by the Chiefs yesterday. Ugh. Still think that was the right side until half the team went down with injuries. Comebacks are a little easier when you're throwing against 4th string safeties and cornerbacks.

Sitting on cin pk and sf +4.5 to finish a huge teaser. May look to hedge both in live.

Saw this on twitter: GB has covered 61.7% of games started by A. Rodgers.

Sitting on an Indy 60-1 shot to win the SB. How the heck to hedge that with them going to Denver next week unless SD pulls a big upset (and screws up all our teasers)? Any ideas appreciated.....

Seahawks were favored by 6.5 vs the Saints a month ago and won by 27 points. I agree it will probably open above 7 and maybe even as high as 10.

Is Harvin going to be ready? I think I like Seattle by 10 too.
That's the expectation.
Hasn't that been every week for the past 10 weeks?

I'll believe it when I actually see it.
No, I actually heard two days ago that the Hawks were surprised at how much progress he made, and he will play "barring a setback."
Line is up at my site: Seahawks -8.5 and O/U 48. Not sure on the total, but if a gun was to my head I'd tease Seahawks through the Wong window and the Over.

ETA: Took the Seahawks down to -2.5 and left an open spot, that sucker will jump much higher.

Oregon +5

Wisconsin -6

San Diego State +9
I was afraid you were going to post Oregon. I like Colorado today and have them at -3.
Colorado by 4 it is!
Colorado opened at -2 at Pinnacle and now sits at -5. There isn't any significant injury news that would make the line move that much. Oregon's record is inflated IMO (Pomeroy has them at #209 sos) and they are also on a layover from the Utah game. Colorado's only two losses were against Baylor and barely to OK St. They should be able to control the glass esp at home.

Tailing your other two (like Wisc myself) but Colorado 72-68 sounds perfect :IBTL:

I think Oregon ends up hitting a ton of threes and keeping it close. We shall see.

Eddie Lacy under 83.5 rushing yards -115 is your complimentary selection of the day. I challenge Fat Eddie's toughness in this spot. He's a bit banged up, it's chilly, he has asthma, and this SF defense is tough. Weather isn't like this in the climates of Louisiana and Alabama, primarily where he has played football the last 15 years. I have a feeling that Eddie will not even want to fight for the extra yard down the stretch. Starks outgains the ROY in this one. Good luck!

I like Rodgers u287.5

let's get'em

gonna try both teams over on their team total 2nd half. chargers over 10 -120 and bengals over 14 -120 at rb. sb had 10.5 -130 so it looked like good value on that one.
