FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (3 Viewers)

All my sportsbook bankwires and even a few checks were processed within 3 days when I had full limits....now that I've been cut I've had a bankwire sitting in the queue for over a week. <_<

For some reason I thought you were backing Querrey and had him for 2 units last night. I suppose that's the difference, I finished up over 7 units yesterday on tennis.

Gulbis was a huge swing. He's talented but so fickle. Any little thing can throw him off and if he's off he's terrible.

ATP:

Przysiezny -185 2u

Dimitrov -185 2u

Rola +125 1u

Simon +260 1u

Lajovic +750 .5u

Sock +650 .5u

WTA:

Erakovic 1u

Voegele 2u
IN. We're going to Sock it to 'em!
I wish Sock wasn't going up against Monfils. Given the weather Monfils is the kind of player that can win the tournament.

I don't see how Sock can beat Nadal but Monfils can. I see a chance at hammering Monfils on Friday @400-500 (maybe more) vs. Nadal.

How could Monfils beat Nadal if he's not even in the tourney?

LeBron's a pretty disciplined, cerebral guy, he's not the Kobe-type who's going to take #### personally and hoist up 10 shots in a row to prove a point.

I'd play the LeBron points over at 27 or under, I think.

Chalmers out-Bird questionable fwiw.

27 seems about right.

Likely playing under in the Toronto/Celtics game, will also look to play the over in the Miami/Wash 1h, depending on the number. I want to play under in Minnesota/Sactown but i'm skeered.

Looking forward to GS/Denver tonight as a fan of the NBA.

Wait, you didn't play Dellacqua? Where'd I get that from?

No idea but she did beat Flipkens.

Don't like a whole lot in the UFC tonight but card starts early (4 or 5 real time, not that west coast b.s.). Right now I got light plays

Dillashaw -280 1 unit

Ortiz +2-something (played last night and I'm on my phone) .5 unit

Tavares +180 ,5 unit

All moved about half a shot + -140 juice.
wow.

yeah, they move those fast. which is why I'm surprised they cut limits on people so fast instead of using the early bets to set better lines.

anyway, my projections (rounded):

BUF 30

TOR 32

PIT 33

WAS 27

VAN 28

hmm so they cut you and they mark all your bets to -140. So you could do the FFWAT folks good by betting opposite of what you like while we gobble up the good line at even? Then we share profits with you?

we can try that, sure. would be awesome if it works.

I bet all 6 lines today for $5 each and they moved them all right afterwards. very odd.

Hey, any of you guys ever get a marker at the MGM Grand in Vegas?

I ask because I just got approved for one, with a "No sports/race book usage" policy. I called and asked for a clarification, and was told that to use the marker limit, I would sign a marker and receive chips when I want to play at a table or a slot machine for X amount. But, these chips are strictly prohibited from being cashed out to clear the marker, so as to prevent from use anywhere besides a table game or slot machine.

Is this for real/any way around it? I was thinking, sign marker at a Blackjack table, go right to cage and cash out (settle later if I needed to) and use cash at the race/sports book all day. Apparently, if you try to settle the chips like I just mentioned, they cancel the markers, and won't give you cash for sports/race book/anything else unless you're up...and you get the net.

:sadbanana:

Did they say anything about using the marker for hookers?

No I didn't ask. But seriously, is this just the MGM Grand being a pain, or are they all like this? I don't want to deal with ATM limits, fees, etc.

relating these to bodog saves props.

Ryan Miller (BUF) 30

James Reimer (TOR) 29.5

Michal Neuvirth (WAS) 29.5

Marc-Andre Fleury (PIT) 26.5

Frederik Andersen (ANA) 26.5

Of those looks like Fleury U might be a play? Maybe Miller O and Neuvirth O?

Just tried to follow and am cut to $7 max bets at -140 after never betting on these. Power of the FFAWT syndicate

Very odd. My cut accounts don't move lines at all.

Mainly because the lines were so far off, I played

Miller U30 (SOG prop was at 28.5 when I bet it)

Reimer U29.5 (SOG prop was at 27.5 when I bet it)

Neuvirth O29.5

In general, the Bovada save lines are sharper than the SB SOG lines but I never saw SOG set 2 full shots lower than the save prop like this.

I have Miller projected for 29 saves (on 32 shots, might have said wrong # earlier), Reimer with 28 (on 30 shots), and Neuvirth with 31.5 (on 35 shots). In general, I play smaller edges on save props than I do for SOG props. None of these are great but I like Neuvirth the best of the bunch.

Sabres and Leafs are both playing B2B and 3 in 4 so I'm expecting some dead legs on both sides which I think probably keeps the shots down. Both are terrible at generating shots but also horrible at preventing shots so it's hard to know what to expect in this game.

Caps are playing B2B and 3in4 as well plus they give up a boatload of shots typically. Pens should have a shooting gallery on Neuvirth so just need him to keep enough out to keep the game in reach I think.

Is Fleury at 26.5? I had the line set at 25.5 so it was a no play for me but I have him projected with 26 saves so not sure I'd play it there either. EDIT: Actually had an error in my spreadsheet. I have him projected for 24 saves so he'd definitely be a play for me at U26.5.

EDIT again: I see Fleury U26.5 (EV) now. I played it. Someone must have hammered the other side as these don't usually move that much.
