FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (7 Viewers)

Alright Milos, at least make it look like you care a little so i don't have to buy a new TV tomorrow because i karate kicked it myself seeing your lazy ### sitting moping around

This watch was on your daddy's wrist when he was shot down over Hanoi. He was captured, put in a Vietnamese prison camp. He knew that if the ####s ever saw the watch, it'd be confiscated and taken away. The way your Dad looked at it, this watch was your birthright. He'd be damned if any slope's gonna put their greasy, yellow hands on his boy's birthright, so he hid it in one place he knew he could hide something - his ass.

Five long years he wore this watch up his ass. Then, he died of dysentery. He give me the watch. I hid this uncomfortable hunk of metal up my ass two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. Now, little man, I give the watch to you.

7-2 in the Association tonight. Suey! I need to get a wallet like Jules.

Back at it tomorrow. On Raonic-1u/Simon/Lopez/Young each .25 unit

Hopefully 1 will hit.

That 198 is the highest total in any Pacers game since Apr 19, 2012 - when the total was set at 205.5 and the Pacers beat the Bucks 118-109 as 6-point favorites.

The Olympic games means the hockey playoffs are starting a week late this year, and that means when I'm in Vegas it'll still be the regular season. :kicksrock:

I think I'm staying at LVH this time, I spend most of my time in the sportsbook there anyway and the convention is right there. Maybe Treasure Island or Tropicana, nothing too far beyond my per diem. I am just not one to spend money on a room I'm never in, hell the deluxe rooms at the Riveria are fine by me. Maybe I'll stay there, it's the right mix of honkey and Latino trash. :hifive:

Problem is the convention is one of the biggest Vegas has all year, so there are zero deals. If I went a week later I could stay at MGM or the Cosmo.

So, you'd lean the over?
Nah, just stumbled on that and felt like messing with you, PT. Another way of looking at it is that you know a good number when you see it. And Pacers' overs are hitting at 37.8% this season. I am still trying to figure out what Man w/ No Name's case is. Like you mentioned, you might have picked a good spot to do this - right after the Pacers set season-high point totals in back-to-back games. Before that they were on a streak of 7 straight unders. Since last year they are 16-13 (.552) to the under after cashing two straight overs.

Rude... Spending the night in Rochester on the 29th If you and/or Lumpy want to grab a drink. I'd move my hotel over to Buffalo but my flight leaves at 530 am back to Philly. Let me know.
Haven't lived in the area for 15 years. I'm in Chicago. Glll though. Get a garbage plate.
Ah, OK. I'm ######ed enough to not realize that. Would have been weird anyway, I'm the only other 30 something to rock a backwards hat regularly

Lumpy, offers up of you're interested.
ha, I spent a week in Rochester. We went to place where they served garbage plates. It's just plain F'ing crazy.

I love a good Pacers under play. Jamal Crawford scares the #### out of my under thoughts. No CPaul though. Hmm

Anybody know which defensive rookies wouldn't be included as "field" for RB. I got Ogeltree and A. Brown, and just wondering what my other options are.

and the more i look around, the more it is painfully obvious that the rookie of teh year awards are just complete b.s. I am looking at an article where the guy has Lacy as his OROY (ok, i can see that), but then he says DeAndre Hopkins desrves it more than Kennan Allen  . That is literally ######ed.

Not a bet, but I gambled a bit in my NBA Survivor pool (payout for winners should be several hundred dollars) with the C's against LA and ORL (have to win just one this weekend). C's are up by 8 with under 3 minutes left, and LAL goes on a 11-0 run. Neat.

So for you gambling gurus, what do you make of the Patriots line going up a full point in the last 24 hours?
Not a big jump, 5 is a pretty dead number in the NFL
Riverboat - NFL 101 Committee's NFC coach of the year, Pro Football Talk coach of the year, Professional Football Writer's Association coach of the year  There's a chance
14 of last 15 PFWA coach of the year's have gone on to win AP coach of the year.

No wind or bad weather in Seattle, I would think this should set up well for the kickers to go over their prop lines despite/because of the 2 stout defenses.

I really need to find a way to get bets down on SB again.

got a horse I like today

#4 Gold Hawk in Race 9 at Fair Grounds (post approx. 5:23 EST). This is the LeComte Stakes (minor Derby Prep)

he's listed as the 3-1 ML fav and could go off lower, but he's won both of his starts including last out at this track at this distance

his speed figures are below a few of the others but being lightly raced a big jump can be expected

he has a nice closing style that should benefit from a fast pace

by no means a lock but I think he wins this easily

Literally my favorite quote from any movie ever.

"Oh..... That what now."

- Marcellus Wallace

They cut out the REAL best line in movie history:

"Well, let's not start suckin' each other's dicks quite yet."
Yeah the Wolf is a bad ###.

I still really like the M Wallace line. I mean you just totally F'ed over LA's biggest gangster where he was going to murder your whole family....... now all of a sudden it's not that big a deal. Sums up the whole situation perfectly.

This bet was on a completely cut prop account. Most they'll let me bet on props is $10 on NFL. NHL is $2, NBA is $5. For some reason on this account they let me risk $1k on this coach of year bet. They also let me bet NFL 2h props to win $1k. You just gotta click that little "MAX" button and explore the max bets on everything.

As far as this bet goes, even with that 14 of last 15 year trend, I don't feel very good about our chances. I feel great about holding +500, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it loses.

yeah i got the same $2-$5-$10 thing going on and the COTY was $10 for me. Only thing left for me on SB other then sides and totals is the 2H NFL props and thats $1K for me.

I really like the NFC -2.5 right now.

If Denver wins tomorrow the line will be ~1.5, and you miss out on a semi insignificant point.

If NE wins tomorrow the line will be ~3.5 and you get to cross a significant number.

Providence is 8-2 at home. Tonight is the first time they are dogged at home. They just won SU @SJU as a 4-point dog on Thursday.

The odds in both games are against it, but I've been getting a huge SF/NE Super Bowl vibe for several days.

AKA, "The Jerry Rice Bowl"...

trying something out and placed these SOG at SB based solely on being off by 3 or more on the save props at bovada. see how this goes.

ott u31.5 opponent saves at bovada is 28
edm o26.5 opponent saves at bovada is 26.5
tb u28.5 opponent saves at bovada is 25
sj u 33.5 opponent saves at bovada is 28.5

Providence 100/150

Providence Over 67½ 110/100

They are coming off a double-overtime win, and this year they are 0-3 ATS after a game that went to overtime. But maybe they are moving in the right direction since they are 2-0 SU and ATS L2. They own an 8-2 home record - losing those two games by a combined 5 points - so ATS looks good, but I went action junkie instead. It came down to RLM. The total is creeping up, and they do average 76.8 points at home. First-time home dogs, and it's on TV.
