FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (6 Viewers)

tj, you were a day early on the Astros. They look good today.
I bet them first 5 again. Oberholtzer only gave up 1 run in 7 ER last year @Oak. He is another guy I like for value. The extra value from their full game is not worth it since they have a bottom 5 pen but he and Cosart are worth a consideration just based on the prices they get. I highly doubt I play any other starter in their rotation all year besides these two. (as I type this their pen is about to blow the game)

Pulling for GS to win here, I think i'd like to put a little change on LAC in the adjusted series price.
I'd like GS to win because I am a :homer: but more importantly that means they cover
I have a futures bet on them to win the west (preseason bet) along with San Antonio and OKC bets I made in season...so it would be a little hedge action.

Congrats on the homer win and more importantly the cover!
I have one for them to win the finals. They won't especially without Bogut. I also have one on San Antonio. Spurs are so deep this year and Poppa was able to keep every starter average minutes under 30 for the regular season.

I don't think GS can get by LAC. Today was somewhat a gift because Blake in early foul trouble. GS has always had an issue in the interior. Bogut helped but now he has to worry about his rib puncturing his lung if he has to play. Interested to see what the series odds on LAC will be now.

I like both SOG unders in the early game today. I think they are set high based on the OT game last time out, but these are two of the best defensive teams in the league.

CHI U32.5 (EV)

STL U32.5 (-120)

just looking at the regulation stats from last game, it was 21 shots for chicago and 28 for st louis. add that in to their numbers against each other all season, and Chicago averaged 29 and the Blues averaged 27.

if you're worried about another long OT killing both bets, can play TIE +260 as a potential hedge there in the 3-way line.
:hifive: :hifive: :hifive: played both unders and the OT bet.

That's pretty filthy capping. Rude Stevens...I like the sound of that.

some good fights tomorrow night:

boxing:

hopkins -190 - bit of a homer pick, but no way he took this fight if he thought he had any chance to lose it

UFC on Fox

Baczynski +360

Tavares -120

gotta look some more hopefully tonight, but i like those 2 for now
i'm bumping myself mother ####ers. looking to roll in cash, i might end up betting POSTING EVERY BET I PLACE HERE every fight as the card goes on
:towelwave:
alright. think i'm skipping next one. took Polish Pistola, and just grabbed Nurmagenov inside distance to finish out prelim card.
####, i posted the wrong thing. damn, sorry. i had Nurmy by decision, have no idea why i wrote that. sorry if anybody tailed there

i have light play on Barbozza, Tavares and Tate. not sure on main event yet. travis has cost me a bit his last 2 fights

All MO plays in? Have fun watching the card. Band is playing in Conshy tonight  :banned:

I'm out.

Percentage of total wins that also hit the RL when the total was set at 10 or higher since 2004:

Rangers 194/270 = .712

Rockies 142/192 = .740

Yankees 148/198 = .747

Red Sox 151/199 = .759

Those are the top-4 just based on # of games. None of the other teams had more than 84 wins against the RL during that same time so won't do the math on them until the totals actually pop throughout the season. But it's one more thing to look for/capatalize on.

whatchoo think about the Cowboy Cerrone fight?
ahh, not a great event here, sorry bud. more losses then wins. Sorry for not supporting the Cowboy here, knew it would be fireworks. Made a goof tailing that Barbozza by decision, certainly was a risky call the way these guys throw leather.

Finishing with Tate which is one i like quite a bit. Sill in the air about the main event, and considering i am pretty sure i am down here i might just lay off. There is a friggin event practically every weekend so i will chase next Saturday

Watching the 4th qtr of the Pacers game, which is the most NBA I have watched all year. I know George is supposed to be good, but I have watched him basically stand around the entire time and doesnt look like he gives a rat's ###. College is so much better.

Sounds good man, I actually laid off Cowboy. gl with Tate

I'm on COL U30.5 SOG (-120) in the late game.

the two teams have played each other 6 times and Colorado has averaged 25.6 shots/game in them. Wild only allow 27.8/g overall this year and Avs average 29.5. In Game 1, Avs only put up 14 shots in the first 2 periods before coming on strong late in the 3rd to force OT. Wild should be more desperate trailing by 1 so I expect them to keep the Avs in check.

I played Bryzgalov U26.5 saves at Bovada too.

After the 2nd period when they were only trailing by 1 goal, Columbus to win in regulation was +1315 at 5d.

Nugs, condolences on the side bro. I hit the over with you though. ATL is now 9-1 to the over at IND since 2011 and 9-0 L9. I didn't want to say anything and jinks you, but who am I kidding I can't even spell jinks 'ya know what I'm sprayin'.

I've probably watched 50 or so of his games, 1st one i've seen him act like this. Something is going on with that team. Never witnessed a meltdown like the Pacers...best team in the NBA for much of the regular season. Unreal.
