FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (12 Viewers)

I generally like to play individual team over unders in baseball. Lucked out on a few this week (Sea yesterday) and tanked on a few as well. I also love hockey. More so during the regular season. Tampa /Mont over was the gift that kept on giving in the first rd and got really lucky to hit Pitt/Clb over 5.5 last night.

I like the Twins to get to Bedard in the early games. I put a play on the Twins over 3.5
well that didn't take very long to hit. :moneybag:

Since 2008 the Orioles are 2-15 in game three of a three game series at Toronto. Average runs for the Blue Jays in those games: 5.8. The Blue Jays scored less than five runs in 5 of those 16 games. This will be Bud Norris' third career start versus the Blue Jays and his first career start at Rogers Centre. The O/U between these two teams at Rogers is 14-7 to the over since 2012. When you narrow the Jays down to the favorite in those games, you get 15-1 SU, 6.1 rpg, and less than four runs in 4 of 16 games. In the ballparks Norris has started either 1 or 2 games in he has allowed 75 runs in 95.2 IP.

Bud has a 5.25 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in 12.0 IP with this umpire. And Drew pitched 7 innings and allowed a 1-run HR in his only start with Winters behind home plate back in 2012. Jays are 5-3 SU and 5-3 to the over with 6.6 average runs scored with Winters behind home plate at Rogers Centre, though all those games occurred 2012 or earlier. Last time Hutch was lined this high was -135: a 6-2 win over the Orioles on May 28, 2012.

I almost went with Sabathia. In 3 starts with Cuzzi behind home plate he has faced 75 batters in 20 IP. In those 20 innings he owned a 2.70 ERA and a 0.800 WHIP with 2 BB and 13K. Doubront had one start with Cuzzi in 2012 where he faced 17 batters in 3 IP and gave up 5 ER. Sabathia's performance on 6+ days rest made me stay away from the Yankees though. So I chose Toronto instead. It's expensive, and figured I already lost 2 cents on the side, but it looks like I saved 5-10 cents on the total, even though it might only have 8 innings to hit. Regardless, home team total and a juiced ML for some action.

Jays 137/100

Jays o4½ 105/100

Anything good tonight for me to LOCK IN A PROFIT on?
All three home teams in the NBA are getting points. There's some value in that, no?

I love Atlanta and Memphis.
From Tim Reynolds-AP

"Home W-L after 16 playoff gms: '14: 7-9 /// '13: 14-2 /// '12: 12-4 /// '11: 13-3 /// '10: 13-3 /// '09: 11-5 /// '08: 13-3 /// '07: 13-3 /// '06: 13-3 /// '05: 12-4 /// '04: 15-1"

Indiana has won twice in Atlanta since 2006. twice!

I've been trying to talk myself out of both of these plays all day, just can't do it. Regardless of the historical vs this year home team wins trends. Will play with points and S/U in both games right before the tip. GL sir

Actually I can't figure GS and LAC out. I think the Thunder and Pacers both win after loosing one at home as the better teams. Along with the Bruins who have Red Wing's number.

Thunder -145

Pacers -145

Bruins -145

And parlayed in pairs.

whyyyyyy thank you Big Teix and thank you Big Whomp!

some good middle opportunities on nba props to start the playoffs, but they have dried up the last couple nights. Probably pushing it on this one with a 1 point window, but took a shot for a bit of fun.

bovada Jordan U11.5 -110

sb Jordan O10.5 -115

he has scored exactly 11 the first two games of the series. :tinfoilhat:

Potential loss of 1/2 unit for potential win of 9.

How are you going to lose half a unit?

Wouldnt you lose at MOST roughly 15% of a unit?

I bet roughly 5 units on each side to win roughly 4.5 units on each side. If 11 doesnt hit, I lose 1/2 unit.

I looked up whomper on urban dictionary. Is it a guy's ****, a girl's ####, a bumpkin, or a well-structured nose? And if it is slang for ####, why only one? Why only one ###? You need two whompers to make a motorboat, right? Is it a stereo speaker or loud pipes on your car?

I like definition #2: whompers
Large #### that you put your face inbetween and shake your head back and forth really really fast.
Bob: "then i put my face between them whompers and you know... it was great"

I put a grip on the Clips a couple days ago, FWIW. And backed it up w/ a bunch of trends and whatnot. Still trying to understand the line move.

Paul was a partial participant in practice yesterday. Though I'm not 100% sure it's from that, he is probable now.

I would buy tickets to a Dodgers game, stay afterward, and lay in the outfield to watch Field of Dreams on their stadium screen.

I haven't been watching the Avs game....+300 only down a goal. How are they skating? (Like it would matter if I was watching, I would have no idea what good or bad skating would even look like)

Winner winner, chicken dinner! Or do we not do that around here?

Nice call on those PF.

edit: I was going to mention something sooner, posting around the time Memphis was up by 16 with 4 minutes to go.. but the game had not ended yet. :tinfoilhat:

We do! We do do this around here!

Huh, huh huh, I said do do. Do they still play beavis & butthead on MTV? Does MTV still exist?

Golden shower state gonna be tough sledding for the parlay, tho. Still a nba profit night which is NOT easy. Unless you're saw.

Sharks +900
I appreciate the run you've been on with these, but the train has pulled into the station with this one. Down 2 goals on the road when they already have three games in the bank... they aren't gonna kill themselves for this one. GL though!
. Yeah, it's a long shot. They way sj has scored I figure over 7.5 and sj has a decent shot to split, and if they get an early goal they could try to end this tonight. Either way it makes me excited to watch. Already hit over 1.5 1p, 5 and 5.5 goals so I'm coasting. Let's go sharks!
