I love baseball.

BASTARDo gives up a 2-run shot in the bottom of the 9th, leading 4-1.

Mariners 3rd baseman boots a routine double-play ball to load the bases. Next batter, grand slam.

Horrible beat on Bastardo, Phiilies don't have Adams, Papeldoosh or some other guy that is decent available today. I have Hamels in fantasy needing a win to win the week, ####.

Some TPC bets from Bovada, 5D, Sb.ag, and sportsbetting.ag

3 chance to win: Furyk, Westy, Zach Johnson 11-1

Top Englishmen: Poulter 5-1

Poulter over McDowell -110

Furyk over Westy -115

Kokrak over Knox -120

Furyk over Mickelson -130

Dufner over Na +110
bunch of suck here at 2-4 unless Kaymar chokes somehow

I'm on Pens and Hawks tonight (but I have futures on the Rangers and Wild).

Leaning Over in both. Might play the salami I guess.

Good luck, man. I have no idea about either of these games. Pretty sure CHI wins, but I'm not willing to lay -230 to find out. The first game..... who the hell knows. The team rallied around Marty for his Mom's passing the other night, and now it's Mother's Day. I'm not tempting fate again.

Morton 0 runs 1st inning TY and has allowed a run in the 1st in 3/28 starts since 2013. Miller 0 runs 1st inning TY and has allowed a run in the 1st in 9/35 starts since LY (6/19 away). Cards have scored in the 1st in 3/25 away TY. Pirates have scored a run in the 1st in 7/22 home games TY. One team has scored in the first inning in six of the Sunday night games TY.

no score 1st -125

1) You should join Charvik's World Cup pool, he made a separate thread for it. $20!

2) Almost worth the price of admission is the spreadsheet alone. You pick a score for every game, and the tables for each group automatically populate, as do the Round of 16/quarterfinals/semifinals matchups. It's amazing. You can even see how many goals a game you're expecting, and how that stacks up to previous WC's in a bar graph. No shtick.

3) You've spent $20 on way dumber things than Spanisheds kicking a ball around for an hour and a half.

Miller is on 5 days of rest, not ideal for his career, but he did well in one start on 5 days of rest this year at Milwaukee on Apr 15. He is 1-5 in 6 starts versus the Pirates (33 IP, 38H, 4.91 ERA, 1.636 WHIP). It's his worst win % versus any team he has more than two starts against. He is 0-3 in three starts at PNC (15.2 IP, 6.89 ERA, 20H, 5HR, 1.723 WHIP), but has 5.0 innings of good experience with this umpire (1ER, 1K, 2BB).

Morton is 0-3 in four starts on 4 days rest this season despite a 3.33 ERA and 1.222 WHIP in those four games, but he also walked 12 and struck out 13 (1.08 K/BB). He has no experience with this umpire. Morton is 3-12 SU (team's record) and 0-8 L8 versus the Cards. To a lesser extent, he went 8.0 innings last start and threw 107 pitches (65 for strikes) - and he is 2-9 SU (team's record) in his career with 6.4 average opponent runs scored when he pitches on 4 days of rest after throwing over 100 pitches.

Shelby pitched 5.2 innings of shut out ball versus the Pirates on Apr 25 at home. But honestly, with the Cards at + money, Morton 0-8 L8 (team record) versus the Cards is basically where I stopped looking. Cheers fellas.

Cardinals +101
Let's do this BiffSaw!
