FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (17 Viewers)

Tomorrow at 12:30, Verlander will be facing a kid who was just called up from the minors.

No line yet, but I'm throwing the kitties in every parlay.

My buddy goes on and on and on how the NBA is rigged (especially against his Knicks). After watching this, I'm starting to think he might be onto something.

I blame Frosty, only he sucks worse than the NBA.
i was coming in to just post this idea. playoff NBA has "do what you have to do to make the game close and exciting" written all over it. Of course OKC has to hit some of those shots, but you just knew it would be close
I mean come on. A wild ### three from Westbrook that draws a foul, the missed call on the turnover, a 19-3 run to end the game? I mean I don't care that the Thunder won since they didn't cover, but that is just a fishy ### ending right there.

Like the guy at the baseball game said tonight about the NBA, just watch the last three minutes of playoff games and do almost anything else to pass time besides watching the rest. Like masterbating, or practicing your bird call, or masterbating while bird calling.

Leyland teams always scuffled in these circumstances, not sure what this team will do. Gausman is a legit #1 guy in two years though FWIW.

Yeah Gausman isn't just some dopey AAA guy being thrown to the Wolves.

Also this Tampa/Seattle game can go ahead and just end at any time.

Well if you guys have seen him, feel free to share a scouting report.

Fast tracked to the majors after being drafted in 2012, had a not great intro to the bigs but his peripherals were pretty good. Pretty good in AAA this year before getting the call up. He's no Verlander and the Tigers are pretty certain to get the win, but I'm just saying he's not some clown shoes being called up to fill a start, guy has #1 talent. Tigers are likely to win, but i wouldn't be surprised if he spins a gem either.

The Orioles haven't been swept at home in their last 24 series. May 17-19 they were swept by Tampa Bay in a three game series.

And they have a bottom five pen, so there is always that.

Just a strange, strange line imo. Miami is probably the worst teams in baseball on the road. It was public knowledge that Fernandez wasn't right (although I posted the play a bit before the media picked up on the severity). You've got 2 posted lines of >-150 on Monday and Tuesday, and a huge question mark of who Miami is going with on Wednesday. Fortunately, we didn't need it, but give me Maholm over Desclafani all day. In my mind, the line was set with a Fernandez/Maholm Wednesday game and Vegas dropped the ball in never taking the line OTB or adjusting the price once Fernandez was ruled out.

Desclafani's actually got pretty decent AA numbers...but, AA numbers, Doyers lineup, flying x-country on short notice, who knows. Maholm has no business taking the hill for an actual major league team at this point.

If there is a rainout today the bet loses...FYI
That must depend on the book. Already graded as a W at DSI.
Probably...their also may have been a change in the industry, it's been a few years since i've made a series bet. Its such a terrible rule but I do remember getting burned on it.

How is this even possible?
Wondering same thing too. I could see bet being cancelled or pushed, but an outright loss? Assuming at SB? Whats it looking like out there tonight anyway?

Mine is still pending at SB.ag. It does says game 3 must be played by 5/14, but it would suck if graded as a loss and not a push for some reason.

SB currently rules it a push if the 3 games aren't completed in the scheduled time frame. Fortunately, there is a better chance of the Blue Jays getting rained out tonight due to the retractable roof malfunctioning than the Dodgers getting rained out. Only thing preventing the W is an e_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ e.

I'd like to buy a vowel, a U.

Saw a squirrel hit a massive life-parlay today. Ran out in front of the car ahead me and he went between the front wheels, then ran out the other side between the right-front and right-rear wheels. :NeoInTheMatrix:

Straightforward action junkie plays on the Spurs totals, just based on the averages in their L5 home games (O/U 5-0) link:

Team Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 FinalSpurs 28.6 33.8 22.6 25.0 110.0Oppo 23.0 25.2 24.4 27.6 100.2o209 -102
Spurs o109 +105
Spurs 1Q o28 +107
Spurs 1H o55 +118

Shout out to Nugs because this was originally his idea. Also check out those 3Q totals.
