FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (2 Viewers)

The White Sox are 3-0 SU when Sale starts against the Angels. He has logged 22.0 IP in three starts versus the Angels since 2012. He allowed 9 hits, 4 walks, and 1 run (1 HR), with 26 strikeouts. And he is in pretty good form right now. Fading the Yankees in the other game who are 1-5 SU (0-4 away) in Phelps' starts this season.

Royals -119

White Sox -115

Chris Andrews ‏@andrewssportsKey horses for me at #Belmont today are #6 Stephanie's Kitten in the 8th, #4 Goldencents in the 9th & #5 Boistrous in the 10th.
My man knows his ponies, but I don't have much risk-tolerance for the track. Might just go heavy on them all to show.

We've done this before. In the last year (365 days) the Cubs are 4-14 SU in Samardzija home starts and 0-6 SU in his home starts in 2014. The last time the Cubs won four in a row they lost by 11 runs to the Angels in the subsequent game in a Samardzija home start on Jul 10, 2013.

Chain, Shoe has been pretty good as well since being inserted into the rotation. Feeling the u7.5 at all?

Have no fear, SawMan. The Cubbies are in fine form now and they are facing 82-year-old Randy Wolf who is coming off of Tommy John.

LAY IT DOWN!

His last two starts went over because of their bullpen, who rank 26th in the MLB. And the White Sox will be batting the full 9 innings, so they will come into play. I think we already missed the 8, too. But you have a good umpire for the under, Phil Cuzzi, who is 15-28-3 O/U since last season. So since last year the under hits in about 65% of the games with him behind the plate. I'm not feeling it though. I want the Sox to score about a dozen in that game.

Shoemaker has averaged 5.1 IP in his four starts this season. When the Angels' bullpen has to come in to replace a starter who pitched less than six innings this season the Angels are 4-13 SU and 13-4 to the over, with an average of 6.2 opponent runs scored per game, 2.4 of those runs allowed by the bullpen.

Took the over in the Arena league game cause I was bored.

28-21 at half with the obvious missed opportunities.

Currently at 28-21 with 6 minutes to go in the game...a big ten game broke out.

The Arena League folks

Something named Jhoulys Chacin, with an ERA of 4.66 and a WHIP of 1.42, is shutting out the Dodgers thru 6 at Coors.

Ahhhh, baseball.

The Dodgers were +2400 live before this inning started. No way I even thought about pulling the trigger on that. They were absolutely lifeless, and Gordon and Puig each left due to injury. Never know at Coors.

Betting CC to show is dumb, right? Isn't the prevailing wisdom that he either wins pretty comfortably or finishes back in the pack?

Stupid horses............really need a Absolute Blowout Winner now. Who do we like in the hockey game?

I (and Frost) bet Chacin strictly as a system play, but Greinke's poor career results in Coors were further encouragement.

Chacin is no doubt terrible, but the Rockies offense has put up Nintendo numbers at home this year. I won't rue taking them even if they blow it here.

Well I hate to lose $20 something bucks on the 8 horse placing, but watching that epic rant was well worth the price of admission.

Insta-top-10 sore losers of all time right?

love when he wife tried pulling him back then he yelled at her too
Way to completely destroy all the goodwill you had with the common folk. This was like if RN and I teamed up to buy a horse and proceeded to get ####faced and cut a WWE style promo on national TV.

Biggest bet of the young season is in on the White Sox tonight.

Let's do this, FrankThomasSaw! :banned: Going to get some Chinese food to kill time.
