FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (8 Viewers)

They scored 3 on Tanaka. Gas Can Warren opened the floodgates the rest of the way.

I just don't see what was so surprising about the line, given Tanaka's performance to this point.

ETA: The line kept climbing from the opening number in most places: http://www.covers.com/sports/odds/linehistory.aspx?eventId=368888&sport=mlb ... which means Baltimore could have won 26-0, and the bookies still did their job. How is this arguable?

So Chain, if you like the over tonight, who is gonna score most of the runs?

I already have u8 but I need a side also because I am :banned: heavily and it just feels right to lock in some more profits.

so, I had a cashout check shipped and it looks like FedEx delivered it to my neighbor. I assume I'll get it from them at some point, but has anyone ever had a check not show up or get lost somehow? I have no idea if the books would cancel the check and send another if something gets lost. With the tracking info, I guess that shouldn't happen but obviously it can.

I know the books did their job. It was still a stupid line.

How so?

God bless you soccer guys but when I check the play by play and see "player x is writhing in pain and play has been stopped" it reaffirms why I don't watch

A dude took my keys out of my gym locker while I was upstairs on the treadmill. He then went out to my car, stole a hundo out of the wallet in my console, and walked back into the gym and put my keys back into my backpack. Bizarre stuff. He left my James Avery ring in the fifth pocket of my jeans, which was there for the taking the whole time. Lock your crap up, guys. I am such an idiot.

I wonder if he was wearing a Portugal #7 jersey. That's the mother####er that just stole my hundo.

Chain - or anyone else really. Can you tell me what the record would be if you bet every NCFF game over last year. Bonus points if you have it by conference.

Formatting sucks but

From covers (over % under %)

Overtime Games 26 74.29% 9 25.71%

Non-Overtime Games 397 49.19% 410 50.81%

All Games 423 50.24% 419 49.76%

Edit: or pretty ####### even

2013 home games grouped by conference is the closest I could come, and I'm a little tipsy (Coors Light):

Code:
          O/U avg total conference24-16-1 (0.84, 60.0%)	57.5	conference = SBC52-42-0 (0.89, 55.3%)	55.3	conference = ACC39-32-2 (4.90, 54.9%)	61	conference = MWC45-39-1 (2.36, 53.6%)	54.3	conference = B1050-45-1 (-1.27, 52.6%)	57.5	conference = SEC32-29-2 (0.44, 52.5%)	57.7	conference = B1216-16-0 (-0.94, 50.0%)	56	conference = IND38-38-1 (1.62, 50.0%)	59.9	conference = P1233-41-3 (-0.56, 44.6%)	55.8	conference = USA29-40-1 (-2.10, 42.0%)	55.8	conference = MAC26-36-0 (-0.84, 41.9%)	52.8	conference = AAC

Those results are where the listed conference is the home team, not necessarily inter-conference games. And those results include bowl games.

it's so jacked up the feeling you get - your crap is all strewn through and it wasn't you - the knowing that someone else had their mits all up in your gear. what's even more confusing is the dude also stole my box of alcohol wipes - those little individually wrapped alcohol pads you use to wipe off your screens with

I thought it was weird when some dude in cowboy boots asked me where the basketball court was. Those dudes had me staked out bro. I let my guard down today.

so am I unpatriotic if I root for the US to get creamed against germany and knocked out of the tourney because of the parlay they cost me here?

If we can "tail" dudes based on their leans without them ever posting a play then logic says we can congratulate dudes for their leans. It's called the reflective proximity of leans.

Look, I'm not hating on the guy. But he took a victory lap because he said Tanaka was too big of a favorite.

Ummm, Congratulations?

The books cleaned up. I'm not sure what the point is.

oh cool. 1st +375x2 goes off a head and now I get to sit through Silver Linings Playbook if I have any hope of off goes a head.

TJ congrats on fading Tanaka today.
Link?
Why do I need to continue to prove what I play or don't play in here?
You didn't post a play on Baltimore, but bumped your post where you thought Tanaka was favored by too much.

Seems a bit desperate .

Would you have said a word if the Yanks won 8-0? I think we know the answer.

way too much heat in this thread lately. it's June and there's nothing to bet on besides stupid baseball so people just want to argue a lot?

I would have posted it upon request.

So to be clear, you're saying you played Baltimore?

Dude, RN won a bet backing Bud Norris in his next start after that. Don't know what that says. Again, tipsy from what is now other beer.

Frankly, I'm cool with whatever as long as Nugs gets blown by his wife tonight.
