FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (2 Viewers)

My bad on the Giants. First inning bases loaded looked real good. Had lots of runners but under ump kept giving and giving. Pitchers didn’t have to sweat too much even though the batters worked hard to get on base and into full counts. Peralta left the game w 115 pitches thrown, shows you the batters were working, but dude was just really lenient once the count got full.

 
If no objections I will just plug all the teams listed into a draft randomizer tonight

I don't think you buy points or Wong the preseason. I'd just take plus-money for action. What are you going to hang your hat on when your guys go for it on fourth down in the red zone every time, and/or don't even attempt the field goal at the end of the half to keep the score relavent. I wouldn't give the book any extra money to win less than you initially bet.

Was going to post in this in the "funny things that kids say thread", but more appropriate here.

I have the game on NFL network right now in my den. My 3yo walks up:

"Daddy, who's red"

"The 49ers"

"Daddy, who's white"

"The Ravens"

"Who's gonna win"

"Hold on.....(checks bet on phone)....we want the 49ers to win"

"Why"

"Because we do"

"I'm thirsty!"

 
Just had a simular conversation with my 6 year old. "Who do you think is going to win dad"? "Well I'm rooting for the white team (pats) but I think the red team (wash) is going to win". "What's that mean daddy"? Got a head shake for my dad on the other side of the room...

 
For those still looking or thinking about doing the bovada prop bonus thing.

After 2 days $18 in casino credits. Should be a decent little chunk to mess around with when all done

Our town's namesake was a complete gambling degen. He had to sell off his entire holding eventually because of poker losses (25K in one weekend, apparently), which was our town and several neighboring ones.

I plan on telling his story to teach my kids about the evils of gambling...until they're old enough to spot an edge.
