My old man used to take me to business deals when I was nine years old. One time he was selling a restaurant. He was old as hell and couldn't spell but he could read. My old man was legit illiterate with spelling and writing but was a good business man. Good at business, you know what I am talking about. I had to write all the contracts. Anyway, they would have their little conversation that I didn't understand, and my old man would get up to leave for the bathroom or tip the waitress or whatever, and I would be sitting there informant style. During that same deal all the dudes did was look at each other and say, "Thunderbird." I told my old man about it after the fact. We didnt make any money that day and he told me what Thunderbird was (is).

I'm liking the Chargers OVER 21.5. The Cardinals defense has taken a step from last season losing more than a few key pieces (Dansby, Washington, and Dockett to name a few). The line is currently San Diego +3 so this thing is supposed to be a close one. Rivers has a healthy Floyd and isn't lacking weapons with Allen, Green, Gates, and Mathews.

I personally like the Chargers at +3 but as a Cardinal fan I can't bet against my favorite team. If Ellington sits, Arizona won't be able to learn on the short pass / running game which should help the Chargers get extra time / a few extra possessions.

+1 on the props. Also start looking at them yourself to see if you can figure out a way to beat them. Simple equations are easier to solve than complex equations.

She was an amazing woman, for sure. She outlived both her children (my dad included), and her husband died in '72. Her daughter, my aunt died of a brain aneurysm in '69, and she raised those grandkids.Still dabbling in commercial appraisal work, but just on a part time basis. Fees suck, and I am well beyond working my butt off like I did ten years ago for less money.
