FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (3 Viewers)

I survived the semester!

Cash bonus from Bovada for gambling.. I like it. Partially makes up for them being crooks on Cook
Same here. It's gonna take awhile to clear the $750 rollover at $25 a pop though.
30 bets? That's like half a swirv sunday
40-25 last week.. 65 bets within 4 days and yer done
True, but I usually miss out on most of the 1:00 plays due to being at Church.
Ouch....considering swirvs history of dominating at 1pm and collapsing at 4pm it must be rough for you.

:sadbanana:

Temple -2 @ SJU to win 1U.

Sorry Mo, but this SJU team is just not that good from what I've seen so far this year. And that's not just the drubbing at Gonzaga (which was an embarrassment), they're barely keeping up with a really light out of conference schedule leading into tonight. I don't see them beating Temple.

Thoughts on Indy @ Cle: CLE is starting Hoyer. Hoyer will be playing knowing one mistake and its Johnny time. Most of the city is ready for Johnny. If he doesn't start fast, for right or for wrong, the boo birds will be out in full force. Let's talk RB's: , Crowell who has been their best back is hurt and not practicing; West was criticized by the HC in the press after losing a bad fumble @ Buffalo; CLE just had to sign Shaun Draughn who had 19 yards on 10 carries for SD in Week 5 this year. It is a mess. OL: The Browns are on their 5th Center this season TE: Cameron not yet cleared; WR; Austin who isnt a world beater but is at least consistent is now on IR for the balance of the year as he is still in the hospital and Gordon, for all his talent, doesn't seem to be on the same page as his QB.

The Line is only Indy - 4: Indy tends to destroy bad teams. The Indy WR corps is going to roast this D.

In the interest of full disclosure, I am going to this game on Sunday and was hoping to see Johnny M. I'll be screaming my @$$ for the Browns either way. Unfortunately, with Hoyer getting another start, I don't see CLE with any kind of spark. I hope I'm wrong, but I think Indy rolls big on Sunday.

Can't believe this team got to 7 wins :wall:

Even better, Steve Mason starting back to back games. Goalies are 4-13 on the second night of playing both, two of the wins belonging to Corey Schneider.

Ducks -1.5 +135

Can anyone tell me what tout this is based on these picks, by chance?

My buddy is withholding his source and I'd like the chance to make fun of him:

2 Units - Wisconsin -3.5 (CBB)

2 Units - Memphis Grizziles -4.5 (NBA)

1 Unit - San Antonio Spurs -8 (NBA)

 I placed a bet earlier today on Duke -4 cause Frosty liked it. So it isn't Frosty, i don't think...

So i am going to start 2 Qbs this week in one of my fantasy leagues. I have Wilson going against Philly defense already, but then i have to decide between Romo playing a poor Chicago secondary, or Tannehill who is playing a weakened Baltimore secondary. I sat Wilson this past week and started both of these bums, and lost for the first time in 7 weeks, knocking me out of 1st place and taking $250 from my pocket. So both are not on my Xmas card list. I traded for Romo a few weeks ago (grabbed him when he was on a bye for Matt Ryan cause i didn't think i could trust him) for these juicy match-ups, but i worry he is more banged up then he has let on and they will try the same game plan like they did with Philly and just try to run as much as they can.

thoughts?

i thought about tailing this, but figured i would observe. End of the 3rd Q: Hou-94, Mem-68. I hope your buddy's units are light (no homo :wolf: )

I got Josh Gordon, dude is offering any of Kelvin/SammyW/DeaHopkins/OBJ in a dynasty for him. I'm also winning the league heading into the playoffs. Make a move or hold? PPR, 16 teams.

Wow, tough one. Gun to my head, I think I'd want Beckham over all of them. There's just no way to keep him from getting ~8 targets a week. I'd want him over Gordon because of the bonehead factor, and because JFF isn't your classic pocket passer. I could see Gordon getting frustrated with him.

I completely agree with all of this. Thanks for saving me the post I was going to write.

Anyone get an email from Kurt yet?
nope. I am betting he is waiting for me to make a bunch of impulsive bets or start chasing something and lose a bunch more before he comes knocking.

I feel like he is the scientist and i am the rat in the maze looking for the cheese. he just has to be patient enough for me to screw something up
