FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (3 Viewers)

Will be away from a TV for the early games tomorrow. Will be following the thread for props, but will likely play this parlay:

Baylor/auburn/Mizzou ATs

What was the most bizarre happening this bowl season so far:

a) TCU beating Ole Miss by 39 (and it could have been 60 if TCU felt like it)

b) Clemson beating Oklahoma by 34

c) Nevada and ULL combining to score 19 points when the total was 63

d) OTHER

Yeah the WKU collapse up 49-14 late in the 3rd is easily the biggest gambling story of this bowl season.

No question. One of the worst beats ever. HAS TO BE. The most bizarre happening of the Bowl Season. :loco:

JB, did you stop at Pepe's pizza on the drive to/from here?
No sir.

Due to some work circumstances I drove home the 23rd and went back to Philly on the 25th (I still call Rhode Island home for some reason since it's where my fam/friends are)

I wish I did though - hoping to come up for a weekend in January and see friends instead of my grandparents. My grandpop isn't doing well and would really like to see him one more time as well.

Will let you know GB, My aunt/uncle live in next town over from your new crib.

Totally forgot about that, mainly because I wasn't one of the scorched. T&P GBs.

Sorry to hear about Poppy. :( Hope he gets well.

They have a Pepe's at Mohegan Sun too.

No prob - been a long time coming.

The only thing about Pepe's at Mohegan is the original oven that New HAven uses. AFAIK, there are 2 pizza ovens in the US that are allowed to burn coal to run them - that's Frank's and sally's across the street in New Haven. Granted this is pretty esoteric, but I swear I saw this fact on a travel channel show once. I feel like the oven and the 3 staff members paid to do nothing except for shuck fresh clams makes the New Haven one the only stop if you're going for the best pizza on either.

People fight to the death over Sally's vs. Pepe's, too. Pizza is serious business in New Haven. I think they are both fantastic.

Any good reason why Oregon and FSU shouldn't go over 72? The Ducks should be able to do whatever they damn well please on offense, which means Jameis & Co. will have to keep pace, which they are more than capable of doing.
I've really racked my brain on this. I think for FSU to have a shot to win they need to keep Oregon into the low 40s. FSU will try to limit possessions...but even if Oregon got 12 drives with 5 TD, 3 FG and 4 punts that's still 44 points. Think FSU will score 28 or less?
Nope.
Down to 71.5 ... :oldunsure:

I swear, I read every single situation incorrectly. This was gonna be my biggest play of the bowl season by a mile, but now I'm concerned.

Had the kids in the grocery store with me yesterday getting a few things for New Years Day. We do an appetizer party at a friends house, kids and all

So I was telling him we needed this stuff so we could go see his friends for a full day of drinking and gambling...some lady overheard me and gave me a dirty look

One of my favorite days of the year though...a new appetizer every hour, tons of booze (wife only has a glass or two of wine and drives my drunk ### home), football squares, poker, left right center and whatever other dumb stuff I can bet on
how old are the kids and how late do you stay?

We got over to the neighbors down a few houses. Wife lift with 4 and 3 yr old and 10 and we were first to leave. Was somewhat shocked the 4,5,6 yr old the parents planned to keep them up to mignight

I am a huge Oregon fan and I think the over is a great bet. I don't see FSU stopping Oregon very much and I think FSU will score a good amount. I also think Oregon wins by double digits.

I haven't bet anything. I lean under but RN has strong total skills, so I abstain for now.
