FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (6 Viewers)

Monday Pucks:

Flyers at Isles (-200) Islanders coming off loss at Montreal on Saturday and have the Rangers on deck tomorrow, so bit of a sandwich spot I suppose, but I like them here, assuming Halak is in goal, and it's entirely possible that they rest him for tomorrow's game since this is their 3rd game in 4 nights. Total is set at 6, so clearly bookmakers think Emery starts in goal for the Flyers. It's set at -110, which makes the under a play in my book IF ZEPP starts, but if they announce Zepp starts, I doubt the total stays at 6, or if it does it surely won't be -110. Can't do much with this until we know the goalies, but I like the Islanders in a parlay and I like the under depending on who the goalies are and what the final number is.

Canes (+140) at Leafs-Canes playing pretty decent hockey right now, while the Leafs have lost 12 of their last 15. Leafs come home after getting killed on quick 4 game West Coast roadie. -160 is far too rich on the Leafs right now. Canes beat them at home earlier in the year and I'll take a chance that they can do it again on the road. I've also got this one comfortably under the 5 1/2, but at -130 too rich to play. Canes have been dreadful on the road, but this is a game they can win. CANES +140

Nucks at Panthers (+105)-Nucks on 4th game of 5 game road trip with Tampa on deck tomorrow. They've won 2 of the 1st 3 and Miller is coming off of back to back shutouts. Panthers meanwhile have lost 3 in a row including at home to the Oilers in a shootout last time out. My numbers call for a lean on Vancouver, but no interest in playing them at -125 on the road. Also no play on the total. PASS.

Jackets (+150) at Wild- Minny playing much better after the trade for Dubnyk, winning 2 in a row, however, it was against Buffalo and Arizona, BUT, Dubnyk only allowed 1 goal in those 2 games and has had a solid year in AZ before coming over. Meanwhile, on paper it looks like the Jackets are struggling, having lost 4 of 5. HOWEVER, the one win was against a hot Bruins squad, and 3 of the 4 losses were against 3 of the hottest teams in the East, the Isles, Habs and Rangers. I do think the Wild can turn it around a little bit, I feel they've really underperformed this year and they have shown signs. HOWEVER, +150 represents great value on the Jackets, who have played good hockey since the start of December and I'll hit the dog here. The under 5 1/2 should be good also, but rather than play it at -125 I'd rather wait to see what the TT are.

More to come.

My account is happy but my eyes don't believe Cerrone won that.

eta: I guess it coulda gone either way but Hendo seemed to land a bunch of stuff. Fun fight to watch, no doubt.

LETS GO IRISHGUY!

She does not exactly speed through it. I have her at right about 2:00, maybe a smidge under. And she's been singing on Broadway for about 20 years now, probably worth laying fairly heavy odds that she doesn't flub. Sportsbook.ag has 122.5 seconds up already.

Sharp action has come in tonight on NE, but man a game moving from 3 to pk based on the CG's is a ton. Russell Wilson isn't going to stink that badly again. The secondary injuries are legitimate cause for concern, but with Sherman's legs ok and two weeks to prepare, hopefully not a big deal. Gonna go against the grain here with SEA ML -107, and keep an eyeball on the under.

Also Scherzer's reportedly agreed to a deal with the Nationals, so +1000 is going to disappear soon. Still up at Bov and Sportsbetting/BOL. Not worth more than a unit given the random nature of the MLB playoffs. I can't see them not winning the NL East, barring a catastrophic string of injuries.

More Pucks for Monday:

Avs (+174) at Blues-Blues are playing good hockey, having won 6 of their last 7, their only loss a shootout loss to the Wings. They are 2-1 against Colorado this year and have been very tough at home. Avs have won 6 of their last 10, but this is their 5th game in a row away from home. -210 is too rich for St. Louis here, only way to play them is in a parlay. I haven't decided yet.

Devils at Sharks (NL)-No line here yet, but I would anticipate SJ close to -200. I don't think so. Sharks may be looking pretty in 2nd place in the Pacific division, but they have a goal differential of ZERO. Sharks beat Jersey out East earlier this year, and very well may win again, but they are not playing worthy of a huge number right now. I won't look to a side here, but rather to an OT-Y play if I can get a big number.

Flames (+150) at Kings-Great night for underdogs. Here's another one I really like. Flames are playing very good hockey right now, they just tied the Kings for the last Wild Card spot, and they've already beaten the Kings twice this year. No real interest in the total here, but I'll be on the Flames at +150.

Early Plays:

Blues/Islanders +121

Canes +140

Flames +150

Jackets +150

A person that is completely incompetent, lacks the common knowledge to succeed in daily life, and does not have a microphone on Call of Duty: Nazi Zombies.A big mop with a handle shaped like a ####.

A miniature mop, kind of like a barbecue mop, used to swab one's ****.
I was just yelling at some fatty on COD, who actually asked me how much I could bench, and then bragged about his 6'3" wife

My 7 y.o. has that game. Occasionally i'll kill a zombie w/ him.

So I'm guessing that the Super Bowl line is done moving now that it landed on (pk). That is good, i like having 2 weeks to think about this one

InThey are the favorites at 5D (+600)

Is Rogan doin roids? Thought he was smarter than that. His noggin looks like it got Barry Bonds disease.
it's funny looking at pictures of him from his Fear Factor and when he first started the UFC to now.
Yep, he looks like a pit bull now. Weird.

I know nothing about this stuff but I will take the Brazilian, no question. That guy is all business. When he laughed at that skit, it sure looked like he meant it. Ice cold in the interview with Rogan's Noggin, as well.

But hey, Conor's got the marketing machine printing that #### out. Roll with it. Worked on me.

I'll be on Jose as well :hifive: . Probably will wait until closer to the fight though since i would think money will come in on Mcgreggor

We're on pace for 11 insults before midnight.
DD seems to get involved with most of these too, right? Feisty guy, huh?
He takes a while to house train.
I love Gezlaf, just giving him #### for last night.

But yes, I'm ####### feisty.
That was my guess. That's why I came back with the Kings line :D

Today was one of those days where everything clicked except my stoopid Gronk bet. I freaking got 40.6 out of GB D and Crosby as must plays in my one and done. Only one with Lynch left.

Lambskin says the Pats win by double digits. Offered him 7 for prime Tigers tickets.

The rare FFAWT bet is here my friends, let's do this. Man up Lamby!
I said I'd do it straight up...no reason for me to give you 7  I told you my double digits comment was just to stir up #### in the Shark Pool

I can't figure out how the game went from NE +3 -120......while NE was destroying Indy(both 5d and BOL had that line), game ends and it's already at pk. Kicking myself for not grabbing the 3 but all I could think of was.....preserve bankroll for props.....preserve bankroll for props.

yeah i told myself before I went to sleep last night....I'm not playing one thing on the spread or total til game day

Last year it was Sea -3 super bowl going into NFC championship game. Sportsbook posted -3 and it was bet through zero in 30 minutes. Everyone knows how last year went.

This year it was -3.5 vs NE. I think Sea PK has some value.

From ESPN:

Seattle's miraculous comeback was a killer for the MGM sports book. In the final hour before kickoff, the MGM took a six-figure bet on the Packers plus-8.5; a six-figure bet on Over 44.5; a six-figure bet on the Seattle money line, and a six-figure teaser bet on Green Bay and the over. They all cashed.
