FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

Since 2009 Princeton is 5-0 SU and ATS versus Brown in their first meeting of the season (avg line -8.3).

They are 2-3 SU and 1-4 ATS versus Brown in the second meeting of the season (avg line -10.6).
which meeting are they on now?
First meeting this season. Also found that since 2008 Harvard is 10-1 SU and 6-5 ATS v Columbia (avg line -8). Harvard 10-0 SU L10 but Columbia covered 4 of L5.

It was a business arrangement, wherein he claimed that my part of the business was not meeting expectations and/or breaking policy. His accusations were proven false; we were exonerated, and the damage is done.
My life is so stupid compared to most every one on fbgs.

I might have gout. I spent my last 10 posts in this thread figuring out a way to pay more taxes. I don't even drink any more. I have anxiety about dentist visits and some days my biggest problem is hidden carbs in rotisserie chickens.
I avoided the dentist for 5 years because of anxiety.........went back in november because i had 2 teeth that had chipped.

I've had about 12 dentist visits since then, a failed root canal that resulted in the tooth being pulled and because it was so infected the dentist couldn't get the tooth numb. After getting a tooth pulled with no novicaine I figure it can't get much worse than that so my dental anxiety has calmed. Next week I'm heading to a surgeon to consult about getting my wisdom teeth removed, can't wait for that!!

I hate the dentist.
Whoa.

Pretty much the same for me I'm scared ####less of the dentist and I have no idea why. I need major work is part of it from tobacco use. Now that I've given that up, it's time to get in there and see the damage done. Ugh. Dreading it. Hoping to wait until after vacation.
Same here, GB. A can of Kodiak/day and I still haven't kicked the habit. Went back last month after a 5 year hiatus and starting to get my #### back together next week. Need a couple of crowns and several fillings. I deal with the anxiety too and pay out of pocket through a flex spend account for the nitrous and it's smooth sailing.

I was very upfront with my dentist, told him I know all this is my fault but I have bad anxiety for some reason and I have no idea why. He's always very patient with me.

I wanted to try the sedation dentistry but it's still really expensive and i'd rather spend my money on other stuff so i forced myself to just get it taken care of.

I had some weird throat infections last year and I'm convinced it was because I had a severely infected tooth. Lots of long term health stuff related to teeth/gum health. It's a few hours of pain and you're done(usually no pain actually)
I had my wisdom teeth taken out recently after avoiding the dentist for 5-10 years at a time too. I found a dentist, and more importantly hygienists, that really know their stuff. Both the hygienists have been with this office for 20+ years and really focus on teeth/gum maintenance and improvement and only go to surgery as a last resort. I really like that. Anyway when it became apparent I need to get my wisdom teeth out because they were starting to get infected and affecting the other teeth (one had cracked) the dentist said he could refer me to an oral surgeon or if I wanted he could do it by but he wouldn't be able to put me to sleep. So he gave me some halcion to take the day before and the morning before getting the teeth pulled. I think I remember most of it, what it sounded like and what order they went in, but I was looped.

After going through that I now have zero anxiety going to the dentist. I visit these hygienists every 4 months and my teeth and gums haven't felt this good in a long time. I love the dentist now.

The last two Iona @ Manhattan games (2012 and 2013) went into overtime with Manhattan winning by margins of 1 and 3. Here is what the regular-season has looked like between these two teams since 2007 link, and then if you just want to look at Manhattan's home games here. Sagarin made the line Iona -4.66 and KP has Iona winning 84-81. The book opened with Iona -2, so not surprisingly Iona has generated the majority of public backing so far (67% spread and 81% ML). It's interesting how the linemakers have set this up, basically since it's an action-junkie "only game in town" situation - on a Friday night - with not much else going on. This game between two rival teams whose games are always pretty entertaining will have no problem bringing in the money. It's just a matter of where the money goes - and will be interesting to see if the book gives us a 3 with Manhattan and/or we get any RLM before tipoff.

This should be the last for a while. Had the normal 6 or so a year for first few years out of college. Then for last 8-9 years not much maybe 1 a year. Then within the last year had all the remainding friends in the low to mid 30's get married of which I stood up in 3 of them. Shouldn't be much anymore except maybe a random co-worker or something.

Did you guys see this?

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- An Atlantic City casino is about to redefine casino gambling by introducing a new style of wagering: competition based on a physical skill rather than luck.

Executives at The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa told The Associated Press on Friday that they've gotten permission from New Jersey gambling regulators to host a basketball contest next month in which players shoot free throws for money.

It's the first of what promises to be many skill-based events that let gamblers take greater control over the outcomes of their bets, rather than relying on a roll of the dice, spin of the wheel or deal of the cards.

"This is a first step, something we've never been able to do until now," said Joe Lupo, the casino's senior vice president. "A year from now, you'll probably see a lot more of these skill-based tournaments or even games on the casino floor."

Similar to poker, bettors are gambling against each other, not the house, as in blackjack or slots.

For a $20 buy-in, contestants compete in 90-second rounds for the right to play in the final round of 16 in a bracket format. The top four finishers will split $10,000, with the winner getting $5,000. A valid Borgata players' club card is required to participate in the contest.

The program was approved by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement under its "New Jersey First" initiative to adopt and enact new gambling products before other states.

The Borgata, the state division and the American Gaming Association all said the March 21 tournament would be the first of its kind in the nation, based on physical skill. Although many companies offer real-money skill-based gambling, particularly online, and there is an element of skill involved in poker, this program is the first of its kind offered by a licensed United States casino, New Jersey officials say.

“This is a first step, something we've never been able to do until now. A year from now, you'll probably see a lot more of these skill-based tournaments or even games on the casino floor.

”- Joe Lupo, senior VP at the

"It's purely a physical dexterity contest," said Eric Weiss, director of the gambling enforcement division's technical services bureau.

Other Atlantic City casinos are also free to propose similar real-money games for approval, though each must be evaluated individually by the state.

"It's smart for them to be creative and try to find new ways to provide what consumers want, given the highly competitive nature of the region," said Chris Moyer, a spokesman for the American Gaming Association, the gambling industry's trade group.

Free throws will be shot from a 15-foot distance, at a 10-foot-high basket using a professional regulation-size ball.

Lupo said anyone -- of legal casino gambling age of 21 -- could play, even professional athletes. So does that mean LeBron James could enter?

"Definitely," Lupo said. "In fact, I wish he would."

bellator tonight:

manhoef +200 - .5 unit

Weichel +180 - 1 unit

and for those who like to let their balls hang in the wind, Julia Budd at -600 is pretty sensible. This really seems like a showcase fight for her, which is definitely a Scott Coker move. Need a name to start a Women's division, they are banking on Budd

WOW....from the best thread ever...

I mostly follow the wagering thread and always tail GooRoo's picks. I don't bet big bucks like GooRoo. But noone knows I have a $4 million trust fund from my dad's company that sold a few years ago. I get all mad when losing a $50 bet.

The ####### master, folks. The mother ####### master.
There's a legend among the bookies around here. You guys have probably heard of it. A curse, a death curse. Jason's curse. They say they cut his limits, but he keeps coming back. Few have seen him and lived. Some have even tried to stop him. But no one can. Jason is a silent, undead killing machine.

Since Dec 21, 2013, Toledo is 13-3 SU and 1-14-1 ATS against a line less than -6 and 9-2 SU and 0-10-1 ATS versus conference opponents in that situation. Or to put it better, since the 2013 season opposing teams are 14-3-1 ATS versus Toledo when they get more than six points (10-0-1 ATS in conference play).
Kent leading scorer out

Shukes cakeleeg in the baseball forum still needs a few owners.

Set up with 2 separate leagues that relegate/promote each season apparently.

Seems pretty cool if anyone were interested.
